Over a year ago Sneaker News showed you the Air Jordan XI IE Low ‘Referee Sample’ which featured a tonal black upper with red Jumpman branding on the tongue as well as on the outsole and the carbon fiber. Since referees wear shoes that are all black, these are likely an unreleased sample rather than one intended for referees, and with the Air Jordan XI IE Low being one of the current Retro releases, it’s worth taking another look. This sample surfaces once again and this second look shows the black leather and suede upper standing up to the test of time (15 years to be exact) rather well. Would these have looked better with a translucent sole, or maybe some elephant print like that Black/Cement III custom we saw not long ago? Another batch of images lie ahead, so take a look and check out the auction from poofyo101jumpmansneakers on eBay.
