Michael Jordan will repeat as coverboy for the ground-breaking NBA 2K video game franchise, but let’s keep in mind that his NBA 2K11 cover from last year wasn’t his video game debut (anyone remember Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City for Super Nintendo?). We recently previewed some new covers for NBA 2K12, which revealed that Michael Jordan will be joined by fellow NBA legends Larry Bird and Magic Johnson on separate covers, but we all know the major reason why we’re copping 2K12 is to play as MJ and dress him in the best Air Jordans. NBA 2K12 just released a nice preview video of the new goodies in the upcoming game, which includes the option to play as other classic NBA teams. Check out MJ taking off from the free-throw line in the preview video below and let us know if you plan on copping NBA 2K12 when it drops October 4th!

I hope they have better color combination for the J's. I could barley make a real CW on most shoes in 2k11. But this game will go up in sales since EA just called it quits and people will be fiending for some basketball because of the Lockout.

Im still waiting for all the personal announcers for each team. Like Mike breen and Walt Fraizer for MSG. Can sum1 contact 2k sports and make that happen? Or atleast get Marv Albertttt (YESSSS)

In regards to the graphics it looks exactly the same. I am looking forward to the new Legends mode but is this as good as it gets on graphics.

wish they would add other basketball shoes like the barkleys pennies and of course the foams foams, pipen. The Js are nice but it would be better with more classics instead of Js

According to a few site…there will be around 10 other Greats to play with in their Greatest Games. They just haven't leaked the names yet…this will be copped regardless.

I wonder if 2K sports realizes that if they just added in foams, pippens, 'sheeds, pumps, etc., and allowed you to make custom colors but required you to unlock the classic colorways, they would double in revenue, because all the sneakerheads would buy it instead of going to their boy's crib!

They arent doing the announcers for every team, but I heard the announcers are different when you go into classic match ups for historical teams. I'm not sure how they can bring back past announcers… but it should be interesting
