Among the most significant rap groups of the 1990s, the Wu-Tang Clan is rarely seen in full force as it’s simply too hard to coordinate 9 schedules and the individual artists’ obligations. So when the Wu set up the Iron Flag in Sydney, Australia on Thursday, they settled for a third of the full group, with Ghostface Killa, GZA and Inspectah Deck holding down the fort and rocking some fresh kicks. Despite several of the group’s members having collaborated via Def Jam with adidas Originals a couple years back, all appeared to be wearing Nikes starting with the Inspectah decked out in a black/white Jordan CP3.IV that had roughly the opposite color distribution as the Genius’ Air Max 90s. Rounding out the group was Tony Starks in his typical multilayered garb, what looks like his go-to black Goadome boots a fitting base for the heavily protected look.
