LeBron James’ eighth Nike Basketball signature sneaker will be remembered for its three different versions, with the ‘South Beach’ Nike LeBron 8s among the hottest releases in recent memory, and now here’s an exclamation point on the end that might go down as the quiet king of LeBron VIII colorways. We already knew that grey, black and neon looks great on LeBrons thanks to the various Dunkman drops and with DJ Clark Kent’s 112 motif takes its turn on the most luxurious of the three designs. Rich black nubuck, silver reflective 3M, neon on almost all the polymer elements; this is just a sick design, so it’s unfortunate they’ll likely end up a ‘friends & family’ inside deal. Hottest lebrons ever. I hate the nines; maybe good for ballin, but no style. Loved the vii's. This is the only pair of eights I've liked at all, and I love em, and they probably won't ever release. This is probably the biggest "fuck you" from nike ever. What the french, toast?

Just had a convo with my lil cousin about These Friends and Family releases. We've decided that we know everyone would try and cop if they were to release. But instead only the ATO guys are going to get these, just so they can feel cooler than every other sneaker head. It doesn't make any since just a bunch of grown men suck'n they own… i digress. Perhapes jealousy or anger has manifested in me but come on really guys. Literally all of the best color ways of every Lebron is Friends and family.

These are over hyped i don’t see wuts so special about the same tired lime color ways or over used south beach color ways. Not impressed.

South beaches are the worst, and these are no way better than them. Like the mid section with black nubuck, elephant print and neon accent. would have got rid of the ugly grey part, kept it black, with black laces. And swapped the sole colours around. They might have been a nice little GR cw to keep up with Kobe. But being attributed to the DJ and others in the “112″ pack, i can see they would have been a good resell value if they were ‘limited’. F&F is just indifferent, not really part of the shoe game, more just for the makers ego… pat each other on the bum etc, make em feel good about themselves. I think Mizzee would do a heaps better job of these. Even i could! But at least this guys having a go.
