The Air Jordan XI has once against established itself as the premier Jordan Brand sneaker release of the year, and with the expected release of the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ in December causing excitement in the sneaker community around the world, the history of eleventh Air Jordan shoe elevates it beyond legacy and into the realm of divinity. Voted by our readers to be the greatest Air Jordan of all-time, the Air Jordan XI rocked the world of fashion and pop culture and catapulted the brand into cultural iconism, but we often forget that the beginnings of this shoe didn’t quite tie in to Michael’s greatest career moments. Michael Jordan first wore the Air Jordan XI during the second round of the 1995 NBA Playoffs, wearing the ‘Concord’ colorway before switching to the ‘Space Jam’ later in the series.
It was during that series that Michael decided to switch back from ’45′ to his original ’23′, but Michael still wore the Air Jordan XI Space Jam ’45′ Sample during Game 4 of that series, when the ‘Space Jam’ made its worldwide debut. These are regarded as one of the most prized Air Jordan samples not just for its rarity, but for its place in Michael Jordan’s historical timeline. Continue reading for this rare detailed look at the Air Jordan XI Space Jam ’45′ and stick with Sneaker News for more detailed looks at one of the rarest Air Jordan samples in existence.

August 9th, 2011 at 9:54 pm
Somebody should do a youtube vid of customising year 2000 space jams with the 45 on the back. A bit easier than the kid who stuck nike air on the back of his iii's and iv's.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:17 pm
23 looks way better…the 4 looks stupid
August 9th, 2011 at 10:20 pm
these are counterfeit, they didn't make 2001 samples with a backwards jumpman.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:45 pm
thats interesting that the jumpman is facing the same way as the 09s instead of the other way like the rest of the OGs
August 9th, 2011 at 10:47 pm
these look fake……..Ive never seen the 45 look like that
August 9th, 2011 at 10:48 pm
more like 2 gs
August 9th, 2011 at 10:50 pm
when were these made??? they have to be 2009 samples cuz the Jumpman is reversed like the current XI……something about this shoe seems off IMO
August 9th, 2011 at 10:51 pm
It's funny that you're dumb as hell.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:52 pm
That makes two of us LOL.

August 10th, 2011 at 1:47 am
Its actually a smoked sole.
August 10th, 2011 at 2:19 am
I would do anything like washing bathroon, cleaning the floor, dumping the trash, or sucking on Kobe's cock to get these in hands
August 10th, 2011 at 5:00 am
You buncho morons… Go peep Sole Collector Mag all about Air Jordans and it shows these #45 space jams… And the Mag was from 2005 and jumpman was like 09 version as well. Ya dumb idiots go back to school and KICK some knowledge…
August 10th, 2011 at 5:02 am
AND look at the logo on the tongue it says JUMPMAN JAM so how da fuck are these from 09?!? Dumbasses…
August 10th, 2011 at 10:48 am
I wanna listen to a song where the guy says that but I cant think or find any Lmao
August 10th, 2011 at 10:50 am
lmao mixtape voice!
August 10th, 2011 at 10:52 am
man honestly the "45" stitching doesnt even look as well done as the "23" always is….the "4" looks weird and they both are different from one another on each shoe if you look closely
August 10th, 2011 at 11:01 am
Well, at least these are not from 95.
So what you guys are going to do with this topic?
Simply sample from 05 came up on sneaker news. Thats it.
No story behind it.
August 10th, 2011 at 12:38 pm
these are from 2000 and are legit, I got that from one of the sample masters
August 10th, 2011 at 12:59 pm
I love to have these!
August 10th, 2011 at 10:03 pm
These are doctored. Notice the lateral bar in the 4 is crossed at different points. I wish I knew if a real pair actually exists or not.
August 13th, 2011 at 12:22 pm
Because im not a noob, those are Screech samples, who made sampled within Nike and sold them on Ebay. Fucking tired of noobs trying to act like they know, what do expect when majority of people who buy Jordans these days are under 16 years old.
August 13th, 2011 at 12:23 pm
Your the noob, the fact that you need Sole mag to get your info proves it.
August 13th, 2011 at 12:24 pm
You got that right, but the hypebeast will thumb you down because they dont know shit.
Man I miss the days when knowledgeable collectors were around, now its just dumb ass kids that don't know shit.
August 13th, 2011 at 12:25 pm
bet you got 3 kids and you spend your welfare check on jordans.
August 13th, 2011 at 12:35 pm
ITT: noobs that don't know about Screech and doctoring jordan samples.
August 13th, 2011 at 11:12 pm
nice
September 9th, 2011 at 8:54 am
The OGs had different 45 number designed, How do I know that? Because I still have that game recorded in VHS
May 9th, 2012 at 10:25 pm
Uriel, that’s certainly your opoinin, but, the one you referenced fails in comparison. It’s average. At best. Simple camera tricks are no comparison for Mos-Def, Mars Blackmon, or the second version’s commercials with the beatbox. If you want slo-mo edits, watch the Matrix.
