Air Jordan Retro V.1 – September 2011

Air Jordan Retro V.1 September 2011

The Jordan Campus Chukka really hit its stride late in the product cycle, and by the time people noticed that dope pack of tonal tumbled editions released, it was almost time for the next Jordan Brand lifestyle silhouette to take its place.  That’s when V.2 Grown came onto the scene and with it, a somewhat uniform naming convention (though it’s not exactly nitpicking if you notice that the new V.9 looks quite a bit more like the AJII than the IXs).  And even if the numbers stray even further from their Air Jordan Legacy forebears and the ‘Grown’ moniker merely unites JB’s upscale lifestyle offerings, there’s no doubting that they did indeed nail the Air Jordan Retro V.1.  We just showed you the black edition slated for a September release, and joining them will be three other pairs with the same elephant print Swoosh.  There are minor material blocking variations from pair to pair, so click through to see their subtle differences up close, let us know which ones you like best and stick with Sneaker News for the exact September release date for all four pairs.
