We’re beginning to lose count of how many Nike Zoom Kobe VI’s have hit retail and this latest colorway adds to that amnesia. The Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Lakers Gradient’ features the team colors of Club Purple and Gold mixed in with one another to form a gradient pattern that forms from the lateral to the medial side of the shoe. Maybe we can look at this shoe as the ’6 Rings’ edition of the Kobe VI seeing that the gradient pattern is reminiscent of the Nike Zoom Kobe V ’5 Rings’, but of course Kobe will be wearing the Nike Zoom Kobe VII if that happens in 2012. Nah… And why are they coming out with new CW's still? Some recent colorways for the kobe 6's were nice, and could've been a hit. If they released it earlier.

The initial reaction to these were an emphatic OMG. I didn't think much of the limited edition All star edition kicks, 3D, O.C., All stars. There must've been other gradients,limited edition, and GR pairs that were just a subtle reaction by me. Good, bad, or indifferent. These really got me and I love it. I'm all things non-NBA now due to the lockout, but I can't overlook these Laker colored ones. Maybe I'll adopt a Minnesota Vikings colorway instead. I can't deny these Kobe VI.

I'm probably the biggest fan of Kobe on the site but I'm getting tired of the 6s. There are millions of 6s thats been released and I don't feel my 6s special anymore. Enuff Nike and let us see some 7s.
