And you thought Nike Air was just something you wear on your feet? While we already knew that the bigwigs over in Beaverton weren’t exactly flying coach, the Nike Air Hangar is a whole new level of business travel. Yep, this 40,000 square foot facility out in Oregon has three G5′s sitting in the hangar but that’s not all. Also featuring a gourmet kitchen, exercise rooms, and a full on lounge-it’s safe to say that guys like Tinker Hatfield may never have to step foot in a regular airport again.
Speaking of Tinker, the Portland based architecture firm TVA designed this one of a kind space, and has had a hand in designing many of the sports centers on campus at the University of Oregon-Tinker’s alma mater. In fact, the two recently collaborated via the TVA designed Matthew Knight Arena, where Tinker came up with the plans for the unique on court design.
