While heads from the Washington DC area like to lay claim to being the first region to really rep the various Foamposite sneakers, the rest of the world has caught up in the past few years due to Nike’s increased focus on this futuristic material. With that being said the latest in the line, the Nike Zoom Rookie shown here in Binary Blue/Black, is posit-ively gorgeous. The aforementioned Binary Blue is a few shades off from the go-to colors for Penny models, landing somewhere between Varsity Royal and Eggplant. And while this is a hybrid model, the successes of previous models in the Air Penny line are remain: carbon fiber plating, icy soles, half-cent logo. Most of ya'll were probably too young or not even born to remember when the original Foamposite 1's dropped...they got a lot of hate (and some love), but over time everyone jumped on board and now they're a perennial classic...not saying these will ever garner the same status, but then again nothing can ever live up to the original...let this shoe be judged in it's own right and stop trying to compare your girl to her older sister...
...the shoe is built for BASKETBALL/COMFORT first and foremost.They should be judged by their PERFOMANCE on the COURT,not how googd they look with a pair of JEANS. That is SECONDARY.

These things are hideous! They look like Nike stole some ski boots and slapped a penny logo on them. I might slap the shit outta someone if I see them wearing this bullshit. These are a disrespect to the other Penny shoes that are actually classic and dope!

These are overpriced, but they're not as ugly as you say (even though I know you're overexagerating). These are actually decent, but isn't getting its justice with this colorway. The outsole is amazing, but $200 is WAY TOO MUCH. I think this is worth $150, and throw those all red joints at select retailers, and you got a masterpiece.
