Plenty of skateshops have designed sneakers for Nike SB, but that number for skate parks is fewer and further between, just a few notable spots around the country ever getting a chance to contribute to a special release like the one pictured above. Todd Bratrud’s latest Nike SB Dunk High is nicknamed ‘SPoT’ for its affiliation with Skatepark of Tampa, and to further their connection with Bratrud’s hobby of inhaling burning organic matter, this cigar-themed Dunk High SB will come in a flip-top similar to those you might see at a cashier’s stand. They also have tearaway material on the upper like Bratrud’s ‘Cheech and Chong’ Dunks from earlier this year, though presumably more earthiness will emanate from the scuffs instead of green. Called SPoT earlier today and asked him outright if they are a Tampa exclusive and his words were: "These SBs and the special packaging are exclusive to our shop. The shoes won't release anywhere else." So I'm thinking it's time to go to Tampa or establish that connect...lol Look for your boy at the front of the line..
It's a good thing I live in Tampa, because these will be an "in shop release" only. I will be camping for these and hopefully get two pairs >:-)
Also, these will only be at SPoT release (similar to RIB packaging at BP only). The regular releases of these will have standard box and insoles.
Only ppl in TAMPA and some other places will get the special box. well they are going to have a limited amount. only way you'll get the box also is threw those places or ebay :D ,.. which mine will be up there haha
That sounds stupid; Ima start selling rocks..not drugs like pebbles i find on the groud I will put them in a "dope ass" box so ya dumb hypbeast ass can "MUST COP BRO" fuckouttahere
