In selecting the Sneaker News Blogs: Best of WDYWT, the staff does its best to gather the twenty best from the week focusing on diversity, great pictures, and the rarity factor. It just so happens that ‘basketball’ was a recurring theme for this week’s best picks, because we have some great basketball-born sneakers from beginning to end. We’ve got some great rare gems like the Air Bakin’ ‘Air’ edition, which was pulled from shelves, a HWC colorway of the LeBron VII, and the uber-rare Air Flightposite 1 Carbon Fiber. That's not true, i'm north american but i voted for the og bakins. I personally love the shoe and i'd put the flightposite 1's at a close second. Don't get me wrong i love jordans too but these shoes just do it for me.

Lots and lots of chunky basketball shoes this week.
the yellowing on the columbias makes them look nice. gives them some flavor to let you know they are OG, that creme color.

I totally agree, its just a shoes that you don't see anymore! These new cats just don't understand the history of the "The Dream". Just like the AJ 1 took MJ to new heights so did this "The Dream" for Akeem Olajuwon during the begining of his nba career.
