The Air Jordan VIII will be next in line in the Jordan Brand ‘point-zero’ series, in which original Air Jordan models are re-thrust into the sneaker scene with completely retooled and refinished uppers. Just yesterday Sneaker News showed you a White/Blue/Grey colorway that garnered quite the response from our readers, and we don’t expect much different for this new edition of White/Red/Grey. Some of the prominent Air Jordan VIII features return, like the crossing in-step straps and the graffiti-like print on the midsole, but what’s new is the Flywire-stabilized upper and revised midsole construction. While we only have a lateral shot of this shoe, one could imagine the medial side to feature some sort of Hyperfuse-like material (if the earlier catalog shots are of any indication) for added ventilation, which was one of the primary issues with the Air Jordan VIII. Somewhere, Bugs Bunny is munching his carrots in acceptance or dissatisfaction, but what do you think? Chime in below and expect the Air Jordan 8.0 to arrive later this year. via villa.

i kno they changed da design of da classic 8, but im sure these are GREAT fa hoopin in... so when i see da aqua 2.0 releasin in Janu in person, ill make my decision frum there... u kno pix can b deceptive somtimes
To be quite honest, I'm not mad at them even though I will not cop, very simple explanation to why they do not work. The original 8's design is VERY early 90's, not for today's technology. will look cool in the AAU circuit (not a bak handed compliment)

It's like JB don't care what they put out, because no matter what people are willing to buy them. Man, after the concords, i'm calling it quits. The game ain't what it used to be.
true, and too add on it basically cost them nothing to make the shoes so they'll still make a profit so why not come out with bullshit if your in their shoes? and i agree with you about the concords thats a must have for a sneakerhead.

Honestly I hate wearing my aqua 8s cause the paint chips every time I out em on that's all I think about I love my aquas so much but im afraid to wear them that's why I Fuck with these its a nice alternative n I won't mess up ny good shit when the aqua version drops that they previewed I will cop
If they had better CWs then it would be so bad, but the color choice etc is horrible. Hope they do a black CW. Maybe that one wont be so bad.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing for sneakerheads. I think it's a refreshing take on a classic and it makes me want the REAL VIII even more. After all, Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

People who actually play basketball. Which is who for the .0 series is designed for. Not a fan of the 8.0. The initial catalog shots showed a lot of promise because of the Hyperfuse throughout the upper and overall slimmed down shoe. Easy pass on the final version.
