We saw quite a few sneakers from Nike and Jordan Brand in early 2011 featuring the Mineral Blue shade either as their main color or an accent shade. This vibrant turquoise shade seems to have given way to a new hue for the time being, Imperial Blue now popping up with increased frequency. The latest is the above pictured Air Jordan 1 Phat, a model that utilizes the ever popular Cool Grey in a carbon fiber-style weave plus perforated sections and adds the blue color in question to its laces. This is the kind of model that’s ripe for a lace-swap, but is the Imperial Blue default solid enough to make it into your rotation?
