Sneaker restocks or delayed releases account for some of the pleasantly surprising gems in the sneaker game. Out of nowhere, a popular sneaker that has long since released pops up for sale without any real explanation of how or why the repletion occurred. Online retailer Eastbay has been one of primary culprits of this trend, with sneakers like the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey and the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Blake Griffin popping up for sale weeks (and in the Cool Grey XI’s case, months) after the release. The same can be said for the Nike Trainer 1.3 ‘Letterman’, a special edition version of the new Trainer 1.3 that Sneaker News gave you a first look on. These sold out rather quickly when they dropped at Nikestore and Niketown retailers, but luckily, Eastbay strikes again with a full size run. Head to Eastbay for yours, or snag a pair on eBay.
