Although Breast Cancer Awareness Month fall during the month of October, the disease is certainly on our minds all year round. Chances are, you know of at least one woman who is stricken with this disease, but tales of heroic battles and survival help keep our hopes high. Nike participates in the awareness of Breast Cancer by releasing a select group of its footwear models in a tonal pink colorway, with all proceeds going to the necessary charities, and this year’s Kobe VI represents the strength and courage of women worldwide with a boldy painted Pinkfire upper and pink ribbon logo at the heel.
