Nike All Conditions Gear made its name in the early ’90s with a series of memorable designs that featured bold colorways still beloved by sneakerheads to this day.  The new ACG look is a bit more aggressive, reds more likely to pair with oranges and yellows these days than purple or teal, so this new model is something of a throwback.  The Nike ACG Takao Mid GTX is a relatively new silhouette but this Raptors-gone-WNBA colorway reminds us of the division’s heyday.  Click through to see more angles and expect this GoreTex-protected Takao at Nike Sportswear retailers soon; Japan’s Styles just got theirs.

Complex Magazine declared Todd Bratrud the top skateboard artist “right now” last December, and if anything, his profile has risen this year on the strength of two stellar collaborations with Nike SB.  Bratrud’s ‘Cheech and Chong’ Dunk High SB might very well go down as 2011′s most infamous sneaker and his work on the SPoT x Nike SB Dunk High proves this guy’s work is absolutely smokin’.  Bratud’s latest reprises the tear-away top layer rolled up on the Cheeches, this time along the side panel where you can already see the texture of a blunt skin.  Click through to see more of some of the latest Skatepark of TampaSB Dunk in quite some time and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date on this September drop.

adidas Originals continues to reminisce over some of the brand’s top tag-team efforts during the past decade, their B-Sides Collection growing to include its first European collaborator.  The Foot Patrol xadidas Originals Campus ’80s reprises a motif used on a 2007 triple release, but it looks like a single navy/white design this time around, as with the UNDFTD and BAPE editions.  The Foot Patrol Campus was notable for its use of white leather Stripes on the lateral and tonal snakeskin on the medial sides, and while this new pair keeps the asymmetry alive, they go wild slightly differently, opting for horsehair this time around.  Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for updates including the release date.  via Sneakers.fr

Only a few sneakers can be categorized as ‘universally loved’, and truth be told, the Nike Air Trainer SC II High teeter-totters on the border. While all older-generation sneakerheads can’t seem to wait to get their hands on the Retro releases of the original Air Trainer SC II colorways, the younger cats who weren’t even around during the early 90′s Trainer era might not have any emotional attachment to them – they might just cop ‘em because, well, they’re simply sick looking shoes. It’s all a cycle for Nike sneakers, and while the sneakerheads with seniority will say “You know, I was around when they first released”, maybe a few years down the line, today’s generation will say “You know, i was around when they retroed”. It was a slow but sure arrival to the U.S. for the LeBron 8 V/2 Low ‘Miami Nights’. After an initial ‘China Exclusive’ release, the LeBron 8 V/2 Low Miami Nights (also referred to as the ‘Flamingo’) popped up at other retailers in Asia outside of China, and then again on the Nikestore UK website. State-side LeBron fans felt a bit left out from the Flamingo party, but Nikestore recently confirmed via Twitter that the Miami Nights will hit select Nike retailers in the U.S. This certainly is good news for all who have been coveting these brightly-colored V/2 Lows, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates regarding the U.S. release of the Miami Nights, and if you don’t want to take any chances of missing out, cop a pair now on eBay.

Nike Sportswear has displayed freedom in their re-issues in 2011 this far, with the Nike Air Flow being one of the notable Retro releases of the bunch. Alongside the original Tier Zero releases, NSW dropped the Nike Lunar Flow, which, as you can probably tell by the name alone, is a LunarLon-cushioned version of the classic running sneaker. We’ve been showing you some great tonal-upper colorways of the Flow and for the Holiday 2011 season, you can count on these four bold new releases to hit stores. All featuring a tonal color-blocking, the Lunar Flow will arrive in a red, green, purple, and grey, featuring seamless suede and mesh uppers. We recently learned that the Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight will be one of the featured Jordan models in the Jordan Brand ‘Year of the Rabbit’ footwear collection, which also included the Air Jordan 2011 flagship and the Air Jordan VII. The Q Flight is a worthy inclusion to that exclusive list, and for good reason; the Q Flight is a revised version of the 2011 flagship model, stretching the boundaries of Air Jordan technology by implementing the super-responsive Zoom Air with the lightweight Hyperfuse upper material. This Black/White colorway (a September 2011) release may not have the added pizzazz of the ‘Year of the Rabbit’ designation, but the simple two-toned colorway makes these a fine selection for hooping.
