Dave White x Air Jordan 1

Some sneakerheads view sneakers as a mode of personal expression. Just as one could tattoo his/her body with permanent ink, another can rock a pair of sneakers and communicate words with through footwear. Sneakers like the Air Jordan XI, adidas Superstar, and Reebok Pump do more than provide cushioning – they assist in creating a sense of style and attitude that few other pieces of apparel can. , who rose to prominence in the sneaker sub-culture with his signature style of painting, was selected to re-imagine the Air Jordan 1 for the Jordan Brand WINGS For The Future program, and through the finished product we could interpret the message of his design clearly. It was one of history, inner and outer beauty, and iconoclastic agendas – a message that Jordan Brand itself carried through its 25+ years of existence.

This September, fans of the Air Jordan 1 and Dave White‘s brush strokes will be fortunate enough to experience a second designed by the world-renown artist. This time around, he focuses more on Jordan Brand themes, like the classic Black/Red/White Chicago Bulls banner and elephant print, making for shoe all the more relatable to the Air Jordan loyalist. While the release information for this hasn’t been confirmed, these will in fact release to the public (and not limited to 23 pairs via auction). Continue reading for more exclusive images of the Dave White x and stick with Sneaker News for more information as it develops.

Nike Zoom KD III Scoring Title Release Reminder

While most of you are probably already up on that other big sneaker release going down this weekend, we have something here for those that are more interested in the contemporary side of things. The ‘Scoring Title’ is dropping tomorrow, a special colorway to commemorate OKC’s big man locking down another scoring title this year with an average of 27.2 points per game. Following his tour of China back in July, Asian retailers got the first crack at these, but they are making their way stateside as of this weekend. They will be available exclusively at NikeTown retail spots, specifically in New York City, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Hit the jump for a better look at this release from Nike Basketball and if you can’t make it to one of the aforementioned spots grab one of the few available pairs on eBay.

Nike ACG Lava Dunk High Premium New Images

For a chunky soled, ruggedized winter-ready boot, the Nike ACG Lava Dunk High sure is a versatile design.  We just saw two Vintage Lava Dunks hit retailers in clean tonal suede and textile colorways with a single accent shade, and though the upper blocking on this new duo is consistent with the classic BTTYS style, they’re anything but traditional.  One pair applies orange leather to a black woven nylon base, the other flipping the script for black leather over lime nylon which gives both the quintessential All Conditions Gear look.  Click through to see more angles of both pairs and look for these at Nike Sportswear dealers soon; Hong Kong’s Kix-files just got theirs.

Supra Plus Pack

Supra continues to add to their summer of packs, this newest trio adorned in an all-over print of the symbol that most concisely represents the addition.  The Supra Plus Pack applies white crosses to the navy blue canvas uppers of the Supra Cuttler, Assault and Belay.  Like pretty much all of the crown brand’s releases of late, these are unified in their use of a white vulc sole, and all of them are available now at select Supra stockists.  Click through to see some more images and let us know how these compare to the plethora of packs we’ve seen from Supra this summer.

Nike SB Blazer Low Grey Purple | Spring 2012

The last two Nike SB Blazer Lows we’ve shown you here on Sneaker News have both been done in green suede, one new release and one preview.  Joining the teased pair as part of Swoosh Skateboarding’s Q1 2012 footwear catalog is this new edition with grey suede on its upper instead of green, which adds a purple leather Swoosh to the side panels for a look that’s all at once versatile and eye-catching.  Click through to see more angles on this upcoming Blazer Low SB for spring ’12 and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike SB release dates.  via N-SB

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Wings Camo | New Images

Archers throughout North America are less than a month away from turning their bows on the forest’s deer population, and though most of them will be wearing some form of camouflage and/or blaze orange, here’s a sneaker that has both and yet not even Mercury himself would be swift enough to keep cover whilst wearing a pair.  The Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Wings ‘Camo’ isn’t exactly intended to keep you concealed, and in fact, the four-color camo and blaze orange accents on these are likely to have people looking at you repeatedly.  Click through to see more angles of this September release and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release date as Japan’s mita sneakers just got theirs.

Nike Lunar Flow Blue White

Back in mid-June, Nike Harajuku in Tokyo showed off three new Nike Lunar Flows as part of a ‘Tonal Pack’ that has yet to make it stateside.  The Solar Red pair popped up at an online retailer about a month later, but apparently that’s not all from this simply satisfying motif.  Check out the newest Lunar Flow in a super-clean Blue Recall and white combo, the latest in a long and ever-growing line of dope unicolored Hyperfuse designs.  The release date is still up in the air on these but given that the other pairs have already become available in Asia, it seems likely these aren’t too far behind.  Click through to see more images and stick with Sneaker News for word on their US availability.  via SP

A Bathing Ape Nubuck Bape Sta Available

Of course it looks like the Nike Air Force 1, but have you seen palettes like the ones used on this new set of A Bathing Ape Bape Stas, on a pair of Uptowns recently?  The AF1 has released in more colorways than any model in history, so it’s not too hard to think of models similar to these somewhere back a few years (some longer than others), but in 2011, these do a great job of blending Bape’s high-contrast past with its apparently subtler present.  Click through to see the soft nubuck uppers on these three pairs and get em straight from BAPE.

Nike SB Blazer High Low End Theory Available

The ’s latest excursion will have older sneakerheads and hip-hop fanatics buggin’ out thanks to a design that serves as both an aesthetic and thematic throwback to two decades ago.  The ‘Low End Theory’ Blazer High SB is based on A Tribe Called Quest‘s 1991 classic by that same name, their flowy graphics and Afro-centric colorway another familiar package for well-versed sneakerheads, as we’ve already seen similar work on the High Strap back in 2009.  Click through to see more of this Tribe Blazer and if you’re wondering ‘who got the jazz,’ check with Nike SB retailers like Premier.
