Supra Thriller Pack

During his successful career that spanned several decades, pop-icon Michael Jackson was recognized for his unique taste in music and fashion style. From the 80′s era, we remember Michael primarily for that red and black leather jacket that he wore during the game-changing ‘Thriller’ music video, and since MJ’s unfortunate passing, design houses have used that iconic pieces of apparel to create commemorative pieces for the fallen icon. Footwear brand Supra, who had released Michael Jackson-inspired footwear before, gives it another go-around with the Supra Thriller Pack, featuring a red and black colorway of the Supra Thunder. For the added touch of authenticity, Supra added a functional retro-style zipper along the lace-placket, and the visa terry-lined inner give these fierce kicks a touch of luxury. Additional detais include the Thriller insoles and hangtag. Only 413 pairs of each pair will be distributed, available at only the most select of Supra retailers, so continue reading for a full rundown of the stocklist as well as a detailed gallery and let us know what you think.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Lakers Gradient | New Photos

A prime example of the precision possible when utilizing synthetic materials, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Lakers Gradient’ is one of the most visually stimulating colorways of what’s been an epic run from Kobe Bryant’s sixth Nike Basketball signature.  Much like the Zoom Kobe IV ‘Gradient’ and ZK5 ’5 Rings’, these fade from purple to gold, though unlike in previous seasons, the Lakers’ playoff performance has us wondering if the treatment echoes LA’s slow fade from glory.  And it remains to be seen if the NBA labor dispute will even end in time for these to show up prior to the Zoom Kobe VII debut, so click through to get a sense for what we do know is in store and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release.  via Air-Randy

Nike Dunk High AC Mesh Pack

The fat-belly-Swooshed, Blazer-esque pack that dropped on the eve of March Madness this year probably deserves an asterisk as an aftershock of Questlove’s Dunk High BZ collaboration, so we’ve only seen one pack of straight-up Nike Dunk High ACs this entire year. And since the Dunk High AC borrows from skate and casual styles for its vulcanized sole, it’s only right to see the model reach across and grab a material combo that’s worked so well on running shoes: suede and mesh. The Dunk High AC ‘Mesh Pack’ lays tonal suede atop a mesh base with contrast stitching the same color as their Swooshes and sockliners, and you can see more images of the grey/volt, black/red and navy/blue joints by clicking on the jump below. Let us know which colorway you prefer and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date because these just touched down at Nike Sportswear’s Paris location. via HS

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals B Sides Forum Hi

“I’m never making them again. I’d refuse to do it. I want to respect the people that have appreciated it so much and who have blessed that shoe with what it is.”

That’s what Jeremy Scott said with regard to his breakout performance, the 2002 adidas Forum Mid ‘Money’ that sent shockwaves through the industry we still feel to this day. adidas Originals reached out to find collaborators to hearken back to the past but with a twist and launched the ’B-Sides’ collectionwith brands like BAPE and UNDFTD contributing their own historically-influenced designs. It’s a perfect occasion to have Scott reprise some of his most important work without having him go back on his word to re-use the infamous currency jacquard, and so here’s the Jeremy Scott x adidas OriginalsForum Hi ‘B-Sides’, a design reminiscent of that all-over OG thanks to the designer’s name criss-crossing the tonal brown upper. Nike SB Dunk High SPoT Cigar Box Packaging

Plenty of skateshops have designed sneakers for Nike SB, but that number for skate parks is fewer and further between, just a few notable spots around the country ever getting a chance to contribute to a special release like the one pictured above.  Todd Bratrud’s latest Nike SB Dunk High is nicknamed ‘SPoT’ for its affiliation with Skatepark of Tampa, and to further their connection with Bratrud’s hobby of inhaling burning organic matter, this cigar-themed Dunk High SB will come in a flip-top similar to those you might see at a cashier’s stand.  They also have tearaway material on the upper like Bratrud’s ‘Cheech and Chong’ Dunks from earlier this year, though presumably more earthiness will emanate from the scuffs instead of green.  Click through to see more of the box and insole designs and stick with Sneaker News for the SPoT Dunk SB release date.  via N-SB

Nike Hyperdunk 2010 McFly Available on eBay

Although we’ve already made the transition to the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011, last year’s Hyperdunk flagship still made noise in 2011 thanks to a look at the unreleased ‘McFly’ colorway. The original Nike Hyperdunk was in fact inspired by the fictional Nike Mag that was featured in the classic Back To The Future film franchise, and so the ‘McFly’ version of the Hyperdunk was born and became one of the most coveted sneakers in recent years. Unfortunately, likely due to legal issues and similar to the scrapped ‘McFly’ Hypermax from 2009, no release of the Hyperdunk 2010 version is likely at this point, but if you’ve been wanting to cop a pair of the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 McFly, you’re in luck, because one of the rare size 9 samples just became available for sale. We’ve got additional images for you after the jump so take a look and scoop up this sample pair from jonli418 on eBay.

Air Jordan 14 Retro Black Varsity Red | New Photos

The Air Jordan XIV ‘Last Shot’ is a sneaker that holds special significance thanks to that immortal moment that the sneaker gets its name from. Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, Bulls down by one point, 16 seconds left, Michael Jordan with the ball…and you know the rest. The last time these were retroed was back in 2005, but fortunately that wasn’t your “last shot” at getting them, because they will be hitting Jordan Brand retailers for another go around this holiday season. Continue reading for a more in depth look at the retro beauty of this Ferrari-inspired Tinker Hatfield design, and stick with us for the December release. via In52

Nike WMNS Air Baked Camo

It came and went as part of the Holiday 2009 ‘Matagi Pack’ Quickstrikes, and we haven’t seen the Nike Air Baked Mid since.  That initial release was quite fuzzy with its sherpa lining, but here’s proof the silhouette is verstaile enough to adapt to another outdoorsy look.  The Air Baked Mid Motion for women comes in a colorway plenty of dudes could get down with as well, an earthy camo printed upper that adds bright blue laces for a more lifestyle-friendly look.  Click through to see more of one of the most unique sneakers you’ll see in the remainder of 2011 and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release date.  via atmos

Air Jordan T Shirts August 2011 Releases

Although the Summer is rapidly coming to a close, it is still t-shirt and shorts weather and Jordan Brand’s latest drop of shirts reflects that. Included among these t-shirts are the Jordan Technicolour T-Shirt and Jordan Six Rings T-Shirt which emphasizes the famous pose made during the 1998 NBA Finals via large foam fingers like those sold at sporting events. Rounding out the collection of shirts are the Jordan Flight T-Shirt and the ‘Wings’ logo shirt which also got the technicolour treatment. Check out the additional t-shirts after the jump and let us know what you think, and look for these at Jordan Brand retailers because they’ve been spotted at Nike Harajuku.
