We just saw a white and khaki Air Half Cent sample from Nike Sportswear, and though it’s a recent model, the 1/2 Cent is based on classic Swoosh designs from the mid ’90s. It turns out that this clean-as-can-be combo also looks great on hoop shoes from even longer ago, as evidenced by this new adidas Originals
Conductor Hi. The white/beige Conductors are joined by a black and blue colorway not all too dissimilar from the Binary Blue Zoom Rookie, so you can have the best of both worlds with a soft summery pair along with a much darker design. Once appearing doomed to a life as the Air Royal’s redheaded stephchild, the Nike Convention has risen like a phoenix on the wings of a series of Japanese-exclusive colorways that shed new light on this faux-’80s basketballer. The trend that’s been working so far is to apply an All Conditions Gear-style colorway along with corded laces for that rugged outdoor look, and as you can see on this curiously colored new release, they look just as good in hightop form as the lows. With the preponderance of tonal colorways these days and Nike Sportswear having jumped into that trend head-first in early 2010 with a massive capsule, the Air Attack Pack gets thrown out as a reference every now and again for new releases. And this new Nike Air Max 95 for women is a prime example of something that as soon as you see it, you realize these would have been right at home among the other WMNS AM95s from that set. But luckily, unlike those pairs that have been sold out for a good while now, this new Air Max 95 in Vivid Grape is available at NSW retailers like Lexington, Kentucky’s Oneness.

adidas Originals’ ST collection bridges the gap between Three Stripes’ classic heritage models and their modern skate designs, releases like the Ciero, adiEase and the new Foray falling into under its umbrella. The latest drop includes the addition of the adidas Originals Decade Lo ST to its ranks, but given the influence from that model’s basketball peers on the state of modern skateboarding footwear, it’s a natural fit. Sneaker News has only showed you one Lakai Pico before the pair pictured above, so you know this new joint is pretty special. The previous pair we profiled was a collaboration with ‘Otis’ director and Girl Skateboards co-founder Spike Jonze, whose one pair might ultimately be overshadowed by the trio of DQM x Lakai Picos. These joints follow a recipe that’s been successful for several other shoes in the past year or so, a tonal suede and leather upper plus caramel brown leather accents and a white sole. The adidas Ronan is a new model from the skateboarding division over at the three stripes, a signature from Pete Eldrigde, whose name is embroidered on the side of these sneakers. The recently debuted Nike All Court Twist is one of the more subtle hybrid models we have seen from Nike Sportswear. You won’t find any Air Max bubbles on the sole or futuristic Hyperfuse materials on the upper. Just a slightly redone lacing set up, using the slanted Footscape model to eschew the typical straightforward approach. This release of the Nike All Court Twist comes in a smooth suede upper, with a rubber toecap in a dark navy on the front end. China exclusive? That was the rumor when these first released out in China, but the shoes later crept up in Korea and in the Philippines. Okay, so maybe these are limited to Asia? Nope. The LeBron 8 V/2 Low ‘Miami Nights’ was available in stock at Nikestore UK (they’re all gone now), which makes a release in the states a lot more likely. The LeBron 8 V/2 Low has already established itself as the ‘it’ summer sneaker thanks to the sweet Sprite, Solar Red, and Wolf Grey colorways, so a release of the Miami Nights would be perfect cherry on top of the V/2 Low’s successful summer-time run.
