Lost in the mix of all the different color-themed packs Supra released this summer was the debut of Chad Muska’s third pro model. The new Supra Skytop III has been conspicuously absent from all of those duos and trios, their freshest design doled out in individual drops like the navy blue pair pictured above. They go with the same clean colorblocking we’ve seen on every Skytop 3 release to this point, and while we’re curious to see what’s in store beyond this simply satisfying look, this one is certainly quite pleasing on its own. Is Penny Hardaway’s Nike Sportswear signature line even stronger today than when he lead the Swoosh basketball roster in the mid/late ’90s? You could certainly sleep at night arguing that opinion with the variety of retro and hybrid releases in the past couple years providing the youngsters a rainbow road to the past and one of the all-time great ‘could’ve been . . . ‘ careers. The Penny hybridization began in 2009 with the Nike Air Half Cent, and while it looks as if the Zoom Rookie will be next to retail, here’s hoping the above pictured model isn’t too far off. This 1/2 Cent sample goes with the lifestyle-friendly combo of white and khaki, and while a flat white Foamposite is quite striking, the insane translucent gumsole just might be this brillant design’s standout feature. Click on the jump below to get a closer view of this pristine new Half Cent and check out the auction for a US mens size 9 sample from rkd4life on eBay.

It seems as if all of the Penny inspired shoes must go through a stage of christening with a few classic Orlando Magic colorways. We’ve come to rely on some combination of White/Blue/Black to gauge the success of new models or retroed pieces from the Nike vault. Well, based on the recently revealed White/Royal and Binary Blue/Black editions of the Nike Zoom Rookie, this one is a keeper. The White/Royal version nearly mimics the Nike Air Penny II ‘Atlantic’ with similar success, with the watery blues wrapping the lace system and ankle area. Hit the jump for a detailed look at the two new colorways of the Nike Zoom Rookie with a sweet on-foot image of the Binary Blue colorway, alongside another classic from the Penny arsenal, the Foamposite One. via KickzLab

The Nike Air Max 90 has been quite busy this summer with its Hyperfuse updates, and it’s interesting to note the use of primary colors across both the new model and the original. Several weeks ago, the AM90 Hyperfuse released as a trio that featured red, neon and blue for its Air Attack Pack-like all-over colorblocking. This time, the CMY is joined by K with two black Air Max 90s and one in obsidian opting for identical blocking with your choice of red, blue or neon on the midsole, laces and heel badge. The tongue features a 3-D effect of Nike Air logos, similar to the multi-layered Air Max 1 Hyperfuse sample that was showcased on Sneaker News not long ago. Click through to see more detailed images of these new Nike Air Max 90 releases and let us know what you think.

“People go on boats to feel happy.” It’s such an obvious statement that you might be inclined look for some kind of trick or hidden meaning, but actually, a simple smile is all it takes to see the truth. So while they come from different backgrounds, the smiley-soled Jack Purcell is indeed a natural fit with the classic docksider boat shoe design. Check out the new Converse Jack Purcell Mid Boat, a couple of brown leather creations whose simple style is exactly the type of thing that made Stefan Janoski’s Nike SB signature series so popular. The Nike ACG Air Moc garnered some attention with a series of colorful designs in early 2011 and the positive feedback must’ve been noted in Beaverton, because for the first time since the Air Moc debuted nearly twenty years ago, it’s getting a facelift. The Air Moc 1.5 ACG extends the Moc’s silhouette with a neoprene sock enclosure that adds another layer of secure comfort to an already convenient/comfy design. Legacy red and black pairs both feature a textured nylon build and are available now from Kix-Files.

Supra is about to show you how to cook up winter in the summer. Sure the timing of this pack may not make much sense unless you live in the Southern Hemisphere, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from scooping up this killer release. We thought the Supra Cookie Pack could have benefited from a speckled pattern, but at this point we’re glad that design element was saved for these bad boys. The crackled blue and white upper mixes perfectly on these to really get that feeling of a winter wonderland. The release includes the Society, the Society Mid, and the Stacks models, and is impacting at Supra retailers as of now. Continue reading for a full look at all of the sneakers from the Winter Pack and let us know how they stack up to the host of other shoes Supra has dropped in recent months.

We at Sneaker News have brought to some new Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke’s to light recently like the ‘Wedding’ and this one deserved some shine as well. Designed by Zachary Suchin, the ‘Brand Knew’ Bespoke takes inspiration from his digital media firm and is quite the ‘exclusive’ sneaker. Featured on Suchin’s Bespoke are grey linen which can be found on the Swoosh, toe and midfoot, patent leather as well as a dark blue buffed material. The Brand Knew CEO also makes use of elephant print which is used along the inner lining and tongue. Pink, while used subtlety on this Air Force 1, adds a pop on the second layer of Swoosh, Nike Air logo and the sole stitching. Take another look at this Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke after the jump and let us know what you think. via NK.

We’re beginning to lose count of how many Nike Zoom Kobe VI’s have hit retail and this latest colorway adds to that amnesia. The Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Lakers Gradient’ features the team colors of Club Purple and Gold mixed in with one another to form a gradient pattern that forms from the lateral to the medial side of the shoe. Maybe we can look at this shoe as the ’6 Rings’ edition of the Kobe VI seeing that the gradient pattern is reminiscent of the Nike Zoom Kobe V ’5 Rings’, but of course Kobe will be wearing the Nike Zoom Kobe VII if that happens in 2012. Check out the additional images after the jump and let us know what you think about the latest Kobe VI. via MarqueeSole.
