When Jordan Brand was at the height of its ‘Air Jordan 1-as-Dunk’ period, some sneakerheads decried the use of ‘too many’ new colorways on the foundation of the franchise. It’s worth noting that this criticism has been totally absent the Dave White x Air Jordan 1 ‘Wings for the Future’, the closest thing to a negative comment on these more of a question, as in, where’s the Swoosh? Dave so thoroughly left his mark on this incredibly detailed design that there was simply no room for the Nike insignia, another interesting touch on a design that stands out above most of the AJ1s we’ve seen in recent years. Click though to see more angles on these and if you can’t wait till the limited retail release, grab a pair early from Kicks-lab.
