The Jordan Melo line has been the highlight of the Jordan Brand Future Sole Design Competition, and in the recently wrapped-up 2011 Future Sole Competition was proof that this youth-driven program certainly had positive returns. Carmelo himself is quite active in the process, as he himself selected the winner of the Jordan Footwear category! The Melo M8 was subject to re-design and re-tooling, but here’s a look at a new Blackout colorway of the completed version; it features a tonal black upper with patent leather and Flywire sectionals, sitting above redone midsole that features visible Forefoot Zoom Air a la Nike Basketball’s Nike Zoom Viz Air of the late 90′s. Check out the additional shot of the Blackout Melo M8 below and stick with Sneaker News for more Jordan Melo updates! via gallery2.

Thank God for the kids @ Future Sole because lately Carmelo's line has been just as bad as CP3's

I like these because they don't look too bulky as the others specialized for his style of game. I like the viZ-zoom air. It's definitely better cushioning and I just flat out like the look. These will be on my list to try out.
