Celebrity Feet: Talib Kweli – Nike Dunk High 2008 Grammys
September 5th, 2011 by John K. | 10 comments

While Kweli never won a Grammy, he’s recognized as one of greatest hip-hop poets of our generation. Coming from a background the emphasized education (both his parents and his younger brother are university-level educators), Brooklyn-born Talib Kweli first gained prominence with BlackStar, a collaborative duo with fellow artist Mos Def; BlackStar brought a focus on Afrocentric hip-hop and garnered critical acclaim as well as mainstream success. Talib, who was pictured with Kweli above as they attended the Grand Opening at Brooklyn Terrance, wore the Nike Dunk High ’2008 Grammys’, a special collaborative release between the annual music awards institution and Nike Sportswear. Check out the Talib, his wife, and his kicks below and stick with Sneaker News for Celebrity Feet sightings!

I am a big BlackStar and Talib fan but he is a terrible dresser. I have never seen him put together a nice outfit. He either needs a stylist or has a really bad one.
This guy managed to throw together one of the dumbest outfits yet! Nothing is coherent and those dunks are below mediocre....Yikes get this dude a stylist!
