The Nike Air Penny legacy continues forward this Holiday 2011 season with the debut of the Nike Zoom Rookie – an all-new hybrid shoe combining iconic sneakers of Penny Hardaway’s history with contemporary styling and design. You’ve already seen several colorways of the Zoom Rookie, like the Orlando Magic-inspired Binary Blue, the ‘Glow in the Dark‘, and the vibrant tonal-red ‘Memphis Express’ PE, but here’s a look at another colorway that you might’ve already had in mind. The Nike Zoom Rookie in the ‘Eggplant’ colorway shares nearly identical color-blocking as the Binary Blue version, showcasing the pearly-smooth purple Foamposite on the upper. The glossy nature of the material is only accentuated by slightly opaque nature of the translucent outsole, creating a unique visual contrast that has made Foamposites so darn popular over the years. Yeah I picked up mine day of raelese. I've heard that the black cements are releasing this holiday season, but I'm not sure. I haven't worn mine yet. Been working.

hey if u go to da solecollectors links u also c more colors of these ( more like a hint to more colors) day have these in pewter, royal blu (not the binary blu cuz i got those) and a cooper color
I honestly like the 1/2 Cent's better than this shoe, but I'd definately be willing to buy a pair of these. I want to see better pics for the Eggplants though, because I can't see shit in that dark.
Love em both, they have turned foam ones and pros into AM95. These at least give new life into the foam line, instant classics.
I see the only 2 colorways I want in these shoes. I know the Binary Blue's drop in Nov but when do those eggplants release I need those in my life!!!
Just started saving for the Penny zoom rookie fund, Lookin @ about over 400$ for these two must have colorways. Them eggplants look mighty sexy.
