That’s how Dallas Penn describes his love of fashion, sneakers and other collectible items, and now the man behind Internets Celebrities and various other web-based projects has earned his shot at voicing his top 25 kicks of all time via Mark Ecko’s web mag. Penn’s list, while not full of obscure picks designed to pander to the sneakerhead elite, certainly has a bit more variety than the average Air Jordan and Air Max-dominated list we’ve come to expect from these guest spots, and in fact, the only two Jays on the list would have to rank among the unlikeliest of choices. Thanks for the shout SN. I seen kids get they ass whupped for their kicks. I'm glad that doesn't happen too often anymore, except for maybe Baltimore when some Foams drop. LOL
If you didn't grow up in NYC during the 1980s you definitely won't give a fux about this list and honestly, it isn't for y'all. This list is for the people who can remember seeing people get their brains beat out their skulls for a pair of sneakers or a Polo ski jacket.
I'm glad the world isn't like that anymore and I'm glad I'm old enough to have lived thru all of that. I might know some of your grandparents and trust me they were the pussies getting their asses whupped for their kicks and gear. LOL
