In the twenty-three years since its 1988 debut, the Air Jordan III has risen to the top of the sneakerhead pantheon, this first of Tinker Hatfield’s Air Jordan Legacy designs widely considered to be one of, if not the single greatest sneaker of all time. 2011′s been a huge year for Air Jordan III Retros, and not only did we see the release of three of the four OG colorways, but also a series of brand new looks, including the just dropped ‘Stealth’ edition. The newly unveiled colorup above is darker than the Stealths, a blacked-out take on the 2007 ‘Flip’ that reverses the typical elephant print and tumbled leather blocking. So is an all-black Flip AJ3 better than the white and Chrome original? I'd do it. I like'em that much. It's just another dope version of the III, why all the hate?
I don't understand some of you guys. Most of the complaints on here regarding the III is that JB no longer uses real leather and when you get it, its automatically dismissed. Everyone saying pass, is going to be at the store bright and early whenever they release to get at minimum 1 pair. I like them. Would they have been better with a black sole? Of course but that's not a deal breaker for me. These are dope and the premium leather put these over the top and a must cop for me.

This explains those all black leather samples that leaked not too long ago. I feel like if JB wants to drop stuff like this drop the price so they sell.

shittin on the black cats, I really hated that patent leather strip. I would definately copp if they drop before 2012. Way too much heat next year

Fresh! Not as fresh as the original flip, but definately fresh - a looot fresher than the stealth at least
most likely the factory owner or employee making money as a side hustle...LOL! and people who want them early are splurging on GR'S at over 100% market up prices. SMH
