You know by now that Jigga is a Jordan-head. Despite his propensity for luxury brands and the massive clout he has to dumb out on the high-end fashion tip, he is still caught in Air Jordans fairly frequently. Last time we saw Jay it was in the Otis video rocking the ‘Banned’ Air Jordan 1′s, and in the above shot we see him in 1′s again, this time the Air Jordan 1 Retro ‘Celtics’. The photo is from an interview between Jay and industry old-guard Steve Stoute, aka the dude who Puffy was cracking bottles over back in the 90′s. Jerronimo is correct, Jay was wearing the DMP 1's in the Otis vid. They put red tape on the back in the intro scene but didn't cover up the entire Jumpman. Also the Jumpman can be seen on the tongue later in the video. Case closed.
I guess every rapper is going thru their Jordan retro fad at the same time or is it just me because thats all I seem to see? Jay get props cuz he aint rockin GR around the time they drop like he doin somethin new lol! Where is the diversity? Wale is on everybody head as far as switchin the heat up imo
