The only way the non-VIP public can get their hands on a pair of unreleased, Friends-and-Family LeBron PEs is if one of the original recipients inexplicably decides to let them go. We all know the Nike LeBron (particularly the Air Max-cushioned VII and current eighth model) were made a ton of ‘special edition’ colorways, like DJ Clark Kent’s ‘looks good on everything’ 112 motif. The luscious mix of black/grey tones with the piercing volt and the historic elephant print gives any shoe a proper facelift, but the unfortunate nature of these kicks is that these never did become available for purchase. That is, until now, when one lucky owner made the decision to pass on his prized possession to one sneakerhead willing to part ways with a fat wad of cash. The current bidding price eclipses even the unbelievable average selling price of the LeBron 8 ‘South Beach’ (but does look paltry compared to the tens of thousands of dollars that someone put on this Nike Mag 2011 shoe, but if you’re interested nonetheless, check out the auction from sellbuysellnow on eBay.
