NASA budget cuts be damned, we’re not done with lunar exploration just yet. Nike apparently still has their eyes on the skies, setting up for a sequel to the popular Nike LunarEclipse+ from 2010. The Nike LunarEclipse+ 2 bears a strong resemblance to the original in its overall shape, but picks up where that model left off with a midfoot stability system and a triple layer sockliner, all while weighing in at a mere 11.6 oz. We’ve got an extensive preview here, showing off a handful of the colorways the Nike LunarEclipse+ 2 will be showing up in come Summer 2012.
