The biggest sneaker-related story in New York yesterday was undoubtedly the unexpected release of the Nike Mag 2011, so you might have missed out on the opportunity for another Big Apple first. September 8th was Fashion’s Night Out, and what better way to celebrate the occasion for a brand that has pushed the skate and lifestyle scene in an edgy new direction, than for Surpa to open their new retail location. Supra NYC is now open on Prince St., where its neighbor across the street, The New Museum played host to a party with music by Just Blaze. Plenty of other notable folks were on hand, including Supra head honcho Angel Cabada and his main man Chad Muska, plus plenty of other attractive, semi-famous young people.
