Nike’s take on the classic Wallabee street shoe was the Nike Sportswear Macropus, but these upcoming Royal Mids do a much better job at capturing the Swoosh at its heart. The Nike Air Royal Mid SO for October 2011 comes in two tonal upper colorways, combining a rich suede with a leather swoosh while using a solid crepe outsole. Additional details like the thick stitching along the sole and the unpadded ‘No-Liner’ style give these an enhanced sense of style that is often associated with the Wallabee attitude.
