No disrespect to the Nike Air Yeezy 2, but it looks like it won’t take the crown as the Number 1 sneaker of 2011. That honor will go to the Nike Mag 2011, but the Air Yeezy 2 was certainly a strong frontrunner to capture the annual crown. Here’s another closer look at the Nike Air Yeezy 2 that Kanye West wore during the 2011 MTV VMAs; these clearer shots give you a better idea of the overall construction of the shoe, which features a slightly lower cut, completely different tooling, and a stylized panel on the medial midfoot strap. Well why does Kanye's pair have a greenish sole and the other ones don't? And the liner/sockliner(whatever you want to call the inside of the shoe) is a pinkish red on Kanye's pair but not on the others? And people are calling the ones Kanye wore "Watermelons" but the other pair is being called "Zen Grey".

And I think everybody who goes on this site, including myself, should be considered a hypebeast. I mean we go on a website to get information about $150+ shoes. haha yeah you probaly will see alot of dudes wearing them braclets now…trend followers and copycats always finish last so it doesnt matter to much, but hey they are still cool looking I mean if I seen some I would probally cop a couple but not go overboard like some would be just to get in the mix of this look,and with me I would never take that spill lol…and yeah idk about that last part that for real sounded like something a hypebeast would say…I would only get them if I really liked them because then they would be pointless to me if I didnt like them and got them only for their hype and exclusivity…I want a shoe I can wear and like and to me feel like it was as good deal no matter the price was.
