Would the new Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski pictured above find enough loving homes to produce a quick run on the quantity released? The success of Michael Lau’s original woodgrain design from a couple years ago along with this spring’s darker Quickstrike edition upon which this modification is based suggests the answer will be a resounding ‘yes’. Add in the fact that matte black is among the hottest colors for those looking to set themselves apart with a look that connotes a sophisticated eye and this pair has all the makings of a quick sellout. They’re vaguely similar to last year’s Air Jordan VI releases in the sense that when you have sneakerheads already creating customs to imitate the look, however close to the previous releases they may be, they’d still move quickly; would you buy a black woodgrain Zoom Stefan Janoski SB if Nike SB made one? Click through for more images and let us know how this relatively simple change compares to the other recent Nike SB customs seen here on Sneaker News. via Tim_B on N-SB
