That it has yet to hit retail in even a single colorway but is already being discussed as perhaps the greatest hybrid sneaker design ever isn’t just hype. Like Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway’s early days with the Orlando Magic, the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP is just that good. This Binary Blue colorup is a bit darker than the Varsity Royal and Atlantic Blue shades commonly associated with the Air Penny series, but the familiar shine of Foamposite cannot be denied, especially atop a translucent outsole. Take a look at some new shots after the jump, let us know how this new color ranks against the classics and other Foam favorites like the Eggplant edition and if you’re one of those sneakerheads who loves the feeling of being the first on your block with unreleased heat, grab these early from Kicks-crew or check out some that are floating around on eBay.

That felt material ruins it. It gets dusty and looks ashy after a little bit. Still have hope for the eggplants though.
I honestly probably won't be buying this shoe, but it's pretty fresh, and has easily one of the sickest outsoles ever.
