The last time the NBA lost games to a labor dispute, Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs won the first of four championships; could a well-rested veteran SATX team recapture the crown in a shortened 2011(?)-12 season?  No matter how the next season turns out, Duncan’s legacy as one of the greatest post players of all time is cemented, though his sneaker story remains as many of the big men in the modern era who were overlooked while flashier forwards and guards stole the spotlight.  Duncan has all of one significantly memorable model to his credit, a shoe that despite lacking official signature status, retains the nickname ‘Tim Duncans’ to this day.  The Nike Total Air Foamposite Max will return in the OG Metallic Silver colorway later this month as a reminder of that first Spurs title run; should we take this as a sign of no pro basketball in the States until next year?  Have a look at some new images and let us know if you can stomach the $225 MSRP on this dope fusion of Max Air cushioning and Foamposite injected construction.  via Osneaker.
