The Carmelo Anthony sign-and-trade pretty well precludes LeBron James from being a New York Knick unless he ends up at MSG during a Shaq-style victory tour. And since he’ll never be welcome back in Cleveland again, we won’t get to see any more dope Hardwood Classics colorways, but these facts don’t combine to preclude any and all blue and orange Nike LeBron sneakers. In fact, if the release timing over the past few years proves any indication of things to come, it won’t be very long at all before the Nike LeBron 9 ‘China’ makes its way to retail. This Cavs throwback -slash- Knicks/Mets getup is reminiscent of the epic ‘Birthday’ Zoom Lebron IV and may be a sign of things to come for 2012′s Year of the Dragon releases; perhaps that explains the detailing on the middle eyelets of these teaser images. The same hype that came along for the lebron 8's after the south beach colorway dropped. The opinions of that shoe changed drastically after different colorways were displayed and the same will happen for this shoe. I like them, and have liked them since I saw the 'bred' colorway but the overwhelmig response was negative at first but with three new colorways being revealed within the past few days, people's opinions are bound to change. That's the nature of this sneaker thing. You must not be paying attention……

Yeah, pretty sure everyone thinks the 9′s look ugly, so where would the “hype” come from? reckon all it will take is a good colorway to get them going, didnt really like the original black and red cw of the 8 either. Can only see a Knicks cw so not sure where the ‘china’ part comes into it?

I think this is a Dec release with the 2 blue hues and the orange colorway. I'm really intrigued with this one.

When the first picture dropped of the LB 9 red/blk/wht colorway the majority of people hated on them. They claimed the tongue was to high, that it didn't have a 360 air unit and the overall design just sucked. Nike reps watch these websites because feedback is important to them. Now all of a sudden their dropping teaser pics all over the place the Miami's the China's. If you liked the shoes from the begining then good for you. But for those who were hating in the begining please don't jump on the bandwagon now after seeing the exact same shoe in another colorway. I for one don't like the shoe in any colorway.

I personally don't like the shoe. but I'm also really only a fan of LBJ 7 and 8. I admit my sneaker taste is TOO picky. But i agree with most people here; If you talked massive amounts of shit and gave thumbs down to all the comments when the first picture in the bred color way came out, don't fall in love with them because of the exclusive color ways. Thats just as bad as a non-sneaker head lining up for every QS Just because 'Its limited'

suck a tease…the Lebron is changing the game and I'm gladly and fully on board…the 7 was amazing…the 8 was "garbage" when first pics emerged and then became a future ICONIC shoe, and now the 9 is "garbage" to many but watch how it takes another step up the ladder of shoe history. If he wins some championship it'll only solidify these even more as future classics and retros that our kids and kid's kids will be standing in line for. The only fear is what this re-sell game does to our passion but that's a whole separate debate/issue.
