Nike Air Max 97 VT – Black – Anthracite
September 15th, 2011 by John K. | 11 comments

Shoes like the Nike Air Force 1, Nike Dunk, and Nike Air Royal have adapted well to the VT treatment, but more recently, Nike Sportswear’s VacTech initiative has hit Air Max models, which clearly have more of a tech/performance inspired design (not surprising, considering the AF1 and Dunk were 80′s babies). The verdict may still be out on the Air Max VT releases, but the all-new Nike Air Max 97 VT delivers a rock-solid closing argument thanks to the curvier body accomplished by the VT treated upper, and the perforations placed on the tongue and Swoosh window in perfect amounts give the Air Max 97 a sexy appeal not often associated with Air Max sneakers. If you remember the catalog images of the Nike Air Max 97 VT, you’ll notice that the perforations all around the upper have been removed in favor of the smoother upper, which we must say was the better decision. SoleFly has these in stock now so take a look below and watch for these at Nike Sportswear retailers!

VT treated = Croc like material? I hope it does not sacrifice breathability and comfort. But this lookes cool,
bring back air max 97 ID!!
I don't care what you say, these are fresh to me.
They were better off making them Foams.. That crease on the toebox would stop me from making that purchase..
Looks like something Batman would wear when his work boots are dirty...
Hmmm....prototypes/samples is my guess. Not feeling these. Looks like Batman air maxes. The Dark Knike.
Kinda fresh but that's a ugly crease on the toe box
these shoes are literally falling apart on this dudes feet
i know right? those weird creases and the glue on the front are really turning me off towards these
Cant front i like these. looks like if kept in good condition these should last a while.
I wish the 3m was somewhere on them but I just might cop.
