To suggest that the Nike Air Force 1 is to New York as the Puma Suede is to London is no great stretch, each city even offering a nickname for these classic basketball kicks turned casual standards. The AF1s are often called ‘Uptowns’, though the various Bronx editions are the closest we’ve gotten to that as an official name, but this new release from the Puma Shadow Society goes all the way and prints the British-born nickname on its side panels. The Puma Suede lowtop looks just as good in black and fuchsia as the previous two-toned editions and are similarly accompanied by an ominous pyramid-eye lacebag to further the whole ‘hidden’ vibe of this collection.
