It’s been a while since we’ve seen a collaboration between Nike Sportswear and West Coast-based Undefeated, but during the heyday of their partnership, any UNDFTD x Nike collaboration was highly sought-after commodity, because the man behind the first sneaker boutique in the West, Eddie Cruz, was a prodigy of the streetwear scene, often predicting trends before they had arrived. This UNDFTD x Nike Dunk High was one of the first collaborations between Nike Sportswear and a sneaker boutique, and as the story goes, these tonal-white samples were actually a mistake, and that result wasn’t exactly to UNDFTD’s liking. Considering the rarity of this grey-outsole version (the gum-sole version is the one that made it’s way out), it certainly brings back some fond memories of Nike’s partnership with one of the premier boutiques in the world. Check out the detailed gallery of the UNDFTD x Nike Dunk High sample and check out the asking from Netherlands-based millz93am on eBay.

Air Jordan III & IV aficionado Kid Cudi was recently spotted at HBO’s Post-Emmy Party in Hollywood, CA that took place on Sunday evening. Kid Cudi, who in addition to be a hip-hop artist is a series regular of HBO’s ‘How To Make It In America’, was spotted wearing the Air Jordan III ‘True Blue’ while canoodling with celebrities and fellow actors like Michael K. Williams, who is known for his defining role as Omar Little in ‘The Wire’ and is currently a cast-member of HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’ and NBC’s ‘Community’. While Cudi’s acting resume isn’t nearly as decorated as that of Williams’, we all know Cudi first as one of today’s most progressive hip-hop artists. We’ve got more of Kid Cudi below so take a look and let us know what you think. via sandrarose.

A new Nike SB V-Rod just got the black-on-black Elephant print treatment, but that model is destined to be a mere footnote when historians document the footwear year that was 2011. But there’s no shame in playing second fiddle to one of the all-time greats, and the Michael to those Vulc Rods’ Scottie is, of course, the upcoming Air Jordan III Retro in a dope new ‘Black Flip’ motif. These apply a wholly dark take on the 2007 ‘Flip’ IIIs that we still see celebrities rocking to this day; will the black edition have a similarly long shelf life? Their fate has yet to be determined aside from the fact you can pretty well count on them selling out soon after arriving at retail, so click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date. via Taobao

If this pair of Nike SB Blazer Highs looks immediately familiar, you may be recalling the ‘Low End Theory’ joints that dropped in August. Utilizing a similar approach of red Swoosh on black uppers, these lose the embossed graphics, opting for an uninhibited suede. The red featured is also a couple shades darker, giving the sneaker a much more laid-back look. Check out the full photos of this Nike SB Blazer High after the jump and head over to Flatspot to get your pair.

The Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 was never a shoe that people picked up just to stunt in. The buzz on this one wasn’t built on hyped up colorways or exclusive releases, this shoe relied on on-court performance to make a name for itself. Originally slated as the first Kobe signature (a plan that was derailed by a certain blemish on his public image), this sneaker brought the Huarache technology to a new generation of athletes and remains a highpoint of design for Nike over the past decade. After this year’s iD treatment, Nike will be bringing them out of the vaults come Summer 2012, in a gang of new colorways with construction that hopefully remains true to the OG’s. Check out the full pictures after the jump and let us know if you’re excited for this upcoming release. via CK

Tons of Duckboot and VacTech heat to keep Air Force 1 fans for the rest of the year, but what about just a good old fashioned pair of Uptowns? Check out this new high contrast Nike Air Force 1 Low, a shoe whose stark design draws extra attention upon the tumbled Anthracite leather that makes up this model’s overlay. It’s just a shade lighter than the black that comes in on the Swoosh, laces and lining, which leaves the rest to white in a design you can tell isn’t exactly a ‘panda’, and yet that’s what hooks you in. A deceptively subtle AF1 Low, this new pair just hit retailers like Oneness and you can grab one right now on eBay.

The lion’s share of the Nike Air Max+ 2011 colorways we’ve seen to date have a decent degree of contrast to them, whether it be via the side Swoosh or a colorful outsole. Here’s something a bit different, a tonal design for the latest in the Air Max legacy that blends in the recently popular total orange with the so called “max orange”. The result really glows, with the sneaker bursting with color all the way down to the 360 Max Air sole. Check out the full pics after the jump and grab this colorway of the Nike Air Max+ 2011 from NikeStore.
