A new Nike SB V-Rod just got the black-on-black Elephant print treatment, but that model is destined to be a mere footnote when historians document the footwear year that was 2011. But there’s no shame in playing second fiddle to one of the all-time greats, and the Michael to those Vulc Rods’ Scottie is, of course, the upcoming Air Jordan III Retro in a dope new ‘Black Flip’ motif. These apply a wholly dark take on the 2007 ‘Flip’ IIIs that we still see celebrities rocking to this day; will the black edition have a similarly long shelf life? I really like these. I was never a fan of the 3s until I actually tried on a pair. They are comfortable and very smooth. These Black Flips may actually make it to my shoe closet.

Not worried about retail just trying to figure out when? Black Friday we get the Black Cements, Then 3wks later Last Shots, then the following week the Concords, then a couple of weeks later in January we get the 10s. Something tells me they will sneak these in on a weekend between black friday and 12/17 when the last shots drop
