A new Nike SB V-Rod just got the black-on-black Elephant print treatment, but that model is destined to be a mere footnote when historians document the footwear year that was 2011. But there’s no shame in playing second fiddle to one of the all-time greats, and the Michael to those Vulc Rods’ Scottie is, of course, the upcoming Air Jordan III Retro in a dope new ‘Black Flip’ motif. These apply a wholly dark take on the 2007 ‘Flip’ IIIs that we still see celebrities rocking to this day; will the black edition have a similarly long shelf life? Black Friday we get the Black Cements, Then 3wks later Last Shots, then the following week the Concords, then a couple of weeks later in January we get the 10s. Something tells me they will sneak these in on a weekend between black friday and 12/17 when the last shots drop

I really like these. I was never a fan of the 3s until I actually tried on a pair. They are comfortable and very smooth. These Black Flips may actually make it to my shoe closet.
