The graphic design, strap and the new tag on the tongue kills it! The material seems on point though! But the tongue should keep it's original jumpman/ peace logo! The strap should have no. 23 at the center.
being that the 8s are one of my favorites and i didnt mind the 2.0s i had so much hope for these... smh

It's not that bad but like the comments above about the straps. I agree they would look better without them. Right now it just looks like a big red X and for the blue ones it'll look like a big blue X.

Not sure how anyone can love the 8's and say these look bad. The straps look a little off but thats it, other than that it looks like an up to date 8 but to each his own. Obviously the 8's will come at the end of 2012 or 2013 it things stil follow the JB MO

I think it overall looks pretty good. The classic look with modern technology I am down with. I only wish the straps were more like the original 8 with bigger cover panel. This makes it look like Air Raid and not the Jordan 8. Not a deal breaker at all. It sheds more weight which is good. Zoom air instead of regular air would be great.

Honestly, in a different color (aqua) I think those would look raw on the court. They look comfy, and people need to realize JB isn't what it used to be. I love Retros to death but I refuse to buy the new ones simply because I wouldn't be proud to call them a retro. This is the next generation of shoes I guess...The technology is there...appeal-slightly off.

Honestly, the straps killed the OG 8s too. I know no one on here will agree with it, but it woulda been a better shoe without them. Completely unnecessary, even back in the 90's.
