Only reason I'd cop these were to beat around & play ball in. You guys act like JB made these as a casual sneaker. They're just like True Flights and the .5's and what not. Just ball shoes or training shoes. I guess that's just me. I don't see anything wrong with them tbh. If you don't like em ok. But saying they ruined the 8s completely is stupid af.

i think these are more for the balln purpose.. for one i dont think these are that bad ---TO PLAY BALL IN---.. wouldnt rock these shits to the mall thats for sure- if u wanna go ball in a pair of retro 8s og 8's then go right ahead.... but these id wear these to BALL in.

come on guys some people actually play basketball and these improvements are for them . This is by no means a bad shoe its just not what you want. Just wait for Nike/Jordan Brand to retro the 8's and stop complaining about everything.

i think these shoes are shoes that look better on feet, you see them now but once its on feet or even rocked properly they look pretty decent sure jb hasnt been doing the best things for jordan but these i think are something that shows he still has the spark to do something better.

Why are the straps even there? They look like plastic on the Navy's. If they took those off I'd consider but JB is clearly too stubborn to listen when they have a BAD shoe.

the two things that suck are the fact that they changed the straps and that the logo is different-. but everything else seems good to me including the splatter paint

If these turn out to be great basketball shoes performance-wise.. I'd buy them. The model is still timeless just a revamp. I can't knock it..

id ball in these for sure. looks extra comfy. but i for damn sure would not ball in pair or OG Aquas or Playoff 8's. matter of fact i aint balling in none of my J's. other Jordan brand stuff yes.

Man, all I hear on SN is people whining about how the moulds on retros suck and they can't play in em...or too afraid.. So what does JB do? They take some old retros and fit em with new tech/materials...what do you y'all do? COMPLAIN COMPLAIN COMPLAIN. Yeah, they look like crap. Yeah, I ain't buying em. I like the black ones better than the og black ones. But they shoulda used the same tongue or somethink like it. Other than that this is a great shoe. Nike is doin a good job revamping the classics so far. 2012 looks like a good shoe year

I got the 2.0's as a hoops shoe and the performed like ish. I wouldn't cop these for a ball'n shoe either. JB can't compete with Nike bball for performance. So these are pretty much for fashion or weight room. If I were to get em I would wait till they are on clearance after x-mas...

The Aqua pair drops in 2012. Don't like the paint splatter design at all. Makes the shoe seem off among other things. Doesn't make sense to release five colorways in one month.

The black pair is decent IMO because the straps match. Wouldn't mind a pair to wear around as beaters. They will be on sale quick so will the Aqua...

The black 8.0s are the best out of the bunch so far.
