adidas Y-3 Sala

Thanks to big name collaborators like Jeremy Scott and Yohji Yamamoto, adidas is in no danger of being accused of playing it safe with their sneaker designs. Adding to the long history of unconventional releases from the Y-3 line is the above pictured adidas Y-3 Sala. The scaled, gator-like leather comes in all black, broken up at the midfoot region by the three stripes which carry the name of their designer. Mixing in a few hits of patent leather, these give off a distinct dress shoe vibe. Take a full look at the super sleek adidas Y-3 Sala after the jump and grab your pair from Ssense.

These would be better blacked out
Does this guy need to make his logo so gaudy all the time? How bout some subtlety from time to time? Especially on a shoe like this. Not that I'd ever buy or rock these...
