A Bathing Ape and Gourmet’s done it before – tweaking classic Air Jordan models and creating new sneakers using the original silhouettes as the base. You can see the glass as half-empty and call it blatant plagiarism, or see it in a more optimistic light and consider it an homage to the Air Jordan line. The Pivot by diffeducation collection of MJ Boots will definitely raise a few eyebrows, but you have to admit – the shoes are kinda cool. You might remember the first time we showed you the Pivot by diffeducation MJ 1.5 Boot, which utilized the Air Jordan 1 upper with a hiking-boot outsole; the MJ 2.5 Boot utilizes a different style of boot outsole, using the Air Jordan II and Air Jordan II Low for the ‘2.5’. Check out both the Mid and Low after the jump and let us know what you think of these funky boots, and check out Flauge for overseas pre-orders.

everything about this release is just wrong....Thumbs down to sneaker news for posting this garbage...Focus on more hard facts like release dates on the hottest kicks not garbage such as these.... unless your aim was to make me laugh in that case swagg out and keep me laughing...
Expand your minds people. I'd rock these, straight up and down on the casual tip. These got a smokey NYC Miles Davis / spoken word Bohemian vibe to them.
OG II were made in Italy and priced at 105 bucks... and for these you-don't-know-where-made-from-probably-China, cost 700 dollars. Fuck you Diffeducation, you probably worked with Gentry Humphrey with these....
if i ever see someone wearing these i will punch him in the chin and burn these while theyre on his feet. this is a disgrace
The ironic part is that these are probably much better quality-wise than the actual model recently released by Jordan.
AS a guy who bought the Gourmet Kicks and got love on em I want these boots....I wish jordan brand made em so I can actually find them but if the did all the retro lovers who can't see past the #'s would hate but oh well.....I love jordan 2's Jordan 2.0's and I am in love with these
No offense to the II, but if you are going to copy a AJ model you could pick something better than the II
An homage would be having something that reminds you of the AJ2. This right here is straight up thievin. And they managed to make a perfect dope shoe into weak garbage Be creative come up with your own designs, this is makin me sick...
yall need to STOP IT.... jus ruin a classic shoe why dont ya. not 1 jumpman on da entire shoe... looks like da worse fake shoe ever made lol
