Nike LeBron Ambassador IV Cannon

The Nike LeBron Ambassador line has grown from an AP-exclusive afterthought to a model with tech specs more closely approaching King James’ flagship model.  The latest goes so far as to feature Flywire and a carbon fiber look on the upper plus a mix of Max and Zoom Air cushioning in the heel and forefoot, respectively.  This pair of Air Max Ambassador IVs approaches a ‘South Beach’ look, but thanks to orange accents instead of pink, the end result is quite different.  In fact, this released version is also different from the samples we’d seen earlier wherein the entire upper was Cannon blue.  Is the finished product better than the prototypes, or would you have liked to see less black on these in favor of the steely blue hue?  Have a closer look at some comparison shots after the jump and look for this newly released colorway to make its way to the States via resellers in the coming weeks.  via LRJ23

Nike Air Total Foamposite Max Metallic Silver | Available Early

Foamposite mania will take a minor turn in the road as we Nike Sportswear pauses the One/Pro releases and re-introduces the Nike Total Foamposite Max on the final day of the Fall 2011 season. The Nike Air Total Foamposite Max was one of Tim Duncan’s signature shoes back when Nike employed up-and-coming superstar big-men Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, and by the time the shoe was retroed in 2005, Duncan had already parted ways with the Swoosh and joined the three-stripes campaign. The Total Foamposite Max should give you Foam-heads your fix for the rest of the year, as no other Foamposite One/Pro releases are scheduled to drop (unless NSW wants to hit us with another QS release a la the Black/Lime House of Hoops release from earlier this year). MrRSports in Miami has these available just a few days before the official release date, so hit ‘em up for a pair, or snag one now on eBay.

Nike Air Max Sweep Thru Black Aqua

Amare Stoudemire is a man who likes to stay strapped when it comes to sneakers. Having previously played in the Nike Zoom Huarahce TR Mid, he’s been spotted more recently rocking a particularly sweet PE pair of the Nike Air Max Sweep Thru. Well for those of us who aren’t NBA stars, the Nike Air Max Sweep Thru is beginning to pop up on retail shelves, with this black/aqua version being the first available. The colorway calls to mind another strapped up sneaker, albeit the Sweep Thrus have a much more contemporary look. Check out the full view after the jump and grab these now from DC retailer Major.

Nike Sky Force 88 VNTG Black Red + Black Royal

To this point in its 2011 Nike Sportswear resurrection, the Vintage Nike Sky Force ’88 Mid has appeared exclusively in classically styled color-on-white designs or fresh takes on tonal suede and leather.  These new editions have a similarly old school feel thanks to some high contrast blocking in their own right, but you’ll find taht these two new pairs achieve a vastly different end thanks to large portions of black on the base layer.  Red or blue framing elements give these a ‘J-Pack’ look that’s sure to be gone from store shelves with the quickness, so act now if you wanna grab one today from the UK’s Size?.

Air Jordan 3 Black Flip New Images

Sneaker News just showed you images of an upcoming Air Jordan III with an unprecedented denim upper along with another with more suede than any other pair in history, but don’t forget about the equally nontraditional Threes that are coming up even sooner.  The Air Jordan III Retro ‘Black Flip’ is a darker take on the 2007 white pair that added Elephant Print everywhere it wasn’t on the OG colorways, this latest edition drawing comparisons to the Black History Month AJ3s from earlier this year thanks to a bronze eyelets similar to the gold accents typical to BHM drops.  And with the BHMs in addition to 3 OGs and a few new AJ3s in 2011, where do the leather-lined ‘Black Flips’ rank on your list?  Some new images after the jump will aide in your decision, so be sure to stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.  via in52

Nike Snowboarding Danny Doesnt Know

More than any group other than the elusive Auburn-Raiders-Royals-WhiteSox-Angels fan, sneakerheads are aware of this simple fact: BO KNOWS.  The dynamic two-sport superstar was a natural fit during the early heyday of Nike Training and proved that Jackson’s accumen extended beyond his own sports and athletics entirely.  This W+K campaign was such a smash hit that the catchphrase was integral to the Trainer series re-launch and now sees its key theme twisted around for another exceptional Swoosh repper.  The new “Danny Don’t Know” video from Nike Snowboardingis a humorous look at Danny Kass‘ prospects in other fields compared to his excellence on the mountain; how does it match up to one of the sneaker world’s all-time great ads?  Have a look at both videos after the jump and let us know which one was better.

Nike SB Dunk Low Un Supreme Custom

From one Nike SB Dunk Low that slipped so far under the radar many didn’t even know it had a concrete theme to one that imitates a just-dropped Mid, which in turn, owes a nod to Supreme for one of the early Nike SB collabos; here’s a look at the latest color swap custom design.  This one comes from the same mind that bleached out the sleeper of all denim Dunk SBs, his latest work transforming the Brian Anderson-authored ‘SF Muni’ from last March into a suede-over-leather revamp that revisits the ’Un-Supreme’ Dunk SB Mid that just hit retailers.  It’s interesting to note that these progressive degrees have gotten sufficiently far from the original inspiration that there’s not even so much as a hint of the Air Jordan III’s Elephant Print; how do you feel about slight changes to classic colorways and design motifs?  Click through to see more images of this one and stick with Sneaker News for the latest custom kicks.  via jwiz on N-SB

Nike Air Max 95 Summer 2012

One of the few Nike Sportswear models to have eluded the Hyperfuse revolution this year was the Nike Air Max 95. Come to think of it, this model didn’t get the VT treatment either, with the only significant material flip being the forthcoming No-Sew version on its way for 2012. Other than that, it looks like the ’95 will be sticking to the standard for next year, exemplified here by the gang of two tone colorways coming down the pipeline. Check out all three of them after the jump and let us know which ones you’ll be scooping up next summer. via CK
