Nike Air Max 90 Medium Grey Black White

Just as surely as you can count on some of the most enthusiastic and dedicated fans in the country to show up at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum when the Raiders kick off each fall, there’s always going to be a wide variety of footwear options to match the team’s gear.  Owing to the simple yet satisfying mix of white, silver and black, the ‘Raiders’ tag gets tossed around quite a bit, and even though this new Nike Air Max 90 is a softer than shiny Medium Grey, they’ll still perfectly match either of your Darren McFadden jerseys.  And don’t forget that it doesn’t get much more neutral than this trio for punctuating an outfit, so check out some more images and look for these at Nike Sportswear retailers like Premier.

Celebrity Feet: Fabolous Air Jordan III Black Flip

They say ‘What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’. Well, NYC-native hip-hop star ’ actions during his weekend stay at Sin City definitely did not stay within the city limits, as we get a look at and the yet-to-release ‘Black Flip’ – a ‘reverse’ version of 2007′s Flip. He performed live alongside Jadakiss with a guest appearance by fellow The Lox member Styles P, and apparently his performance had the entire audience (and a certain R&B star’s kid brother) floored – out cold from a nice one-two combo of his most popular songs. Check out sting like a bee with his new kicks below and let us know what you think!

Jordan Flight 45 TRK Fall 2011 Colorways

The latest release from Jordan Brand represents a number of trends culminating into one trio of dope boots for winter, so let’s examine the forces at work in the Jordan Flight 45 TRK.  First off, the Flight 45 was one of the not-quite-hybrid Air Jordan-inspired lifestyle looks that raised the bar in this now well-established category, its strapped and super-high cut design no doubt owing to the success of the original Nike Air Yeezy.  The Flight 45 TRK, then, is a welcome addition to the growing number of sneakers-turned-boots, a look that seems like a natural fit for a beefed up, winter-ready alteration.  And in this trio of new tonal colorways, JB keeps things clean to naturally enhance your streetwear choices, this array of colors somewhat reminiscent of the Stussy x Nike Sky Force ’88s that released earlier this year.  Click through to see more of all three pairs then look for these at select Jumpman suppliers like CitySole.

Nike Air Max 95 360

We’ve seen this before, haven’t we? Nike celebrated the ‘History Of Air’ in 2006 by not only re-releasing some of the major Air Max flagships in its original colors, but by re-invented a few classics by combining familiar upper designs with the state-of-the-art 360-degree Max Air unit. You might remember the Nike Air Max 95/360 in the original ‘Neon’ colorway, as well as the ‘DQM’ version and a few other funky colorways, but this latest rehashing of 95-meets-360 combines the newer, fully-uncaged full-length Max Air with what appears to be a seamless upper construction, as seen on the Air Max 95 No-Sew we showed you earlier today. These are set to release this Summer 2012 season with a $170 MSRP, so continue reading for a look at the five expected colorways and let us know what you think. via CK.

Nike LeBron 9 Behind The Scenes

Thought the wildly wavy carbon fiber panel on the sides of the Nike LeBron 9 was just for show and perhaps a nice way to get strength without added weight?  You’re on the right track, but may not have realized that the lateral stability weave actually provides three critical points of lockdown to ensure you stay in place to reap the benefits of mixed Max and Zoom Air cushioning.  Also key to the fit is an independent fit harness at the midfoot which helps to make sure the Hyperfuse ventilation you need to stay cool in the clutch stays where it’s supposed to be.  Click through to see Nike Basketball’s and Charles Williams along with LeBron himself discussing the merits of what looks to be the most impressive basketball shoe on the market upon its entry in October, and let us know how you feel about the tech on the Nike LeBron IX.

Nike Sportswear Vac Tech Pack Holiday 2011

The sneaker world’s reliance upon tonal designs in the wake of 2008′s financial meltdown has left some looking for a bit more flash, while those who are making the most of the variety of clean options available are revelling in an unprecedented array of styles to serve as subtle outfit anchors.  The Nike Sportswear Vac-Tech collection makes simple colorways look even better with its elegant molding, and today we’ll take a look at what kinds of simply satisfying stuff is on tap for the rest of the year.  Ten different models can be seen in this post, all of them either Nike Air Force 1 High VTs or Lows, Air Max 90s or Dunk Highs, each impressive in its own right.  They range from totally tonal to slight contrasts along the sole, and even one pair that mixes in leather plus wool on the upper along with the ubiquitous white Dunk midsole.  This is the kind of capsule that can have you imagining an entire rainbow of possibilities and this set of cool colors for Holiday 2011 has us hoping spring follows with something equally appropriate.  Click through to see em all, let us know which is your favorite and stick with Sneaker News for the US release dates.  via HS

Air Jordan XIV GS Black Pink

The will make a triumphant return this Holiday 2011 season as the new ‘Light Graphite’ colorway (October) and the career-defining ‘Last Shot’ (December) will make its way to store shelves. Also dropping in time for the gift-giving season is this new girl’s-only version of the Jordan XIV in a black/pink colorway; the upper combines soft nubuck with a glossy finish on the toe and the heel with the vivid pink tone colorizing the ‘body kit’ of the midsole as well as the inner lining, rubber heel, and the sports-car inspired logo. Back in 2005, when the Air Jordan XIV was finally re-issued, Jordan Brand released a womens colorway of Black and Pink, although the upper was entirely black and featured just minor hints of pink. Expect this releaseto hit this November at Jordan retailers like Villa, and let us know what you think of this new colorway.

Air Jordan Spizike Knicks Orange | New Images

Celebrities are sports fans too, and when you have celebrity money, you have celebrity seats. Of course, there are those celebs who can be as fanatical as your average Joe, like Penny Marshall is for the Lakers, Ashley Judd is for the Kentucky Wildcats, and is for the New York Knicks. Spike’s been screaming haterations and hollerations at opposing team players for decades (particularly at a certain former Indiana Pacers sharpshooter), but no Knick game is a true Knick game without seeing Spike covered in blue and orange, waving his towels and screaming at referees. For NY’s Playoff run earlier this year, Spike was seen rocking the Air Jordan Spiz’ike in a special PE colorway in blue and orange, and recent developments of the Spiz’ike has shown that the shoes will in fact release to the public. Here we have a detailed look at the orange ‘alternate’ colorway of the Spiz’ike; it features a mix of tumbled leather and suede, with a tonal-orange elephant print and a white/black laser-graphic inner lining. Check out the detailed shots below and stick with Sneaker News for more Jordan Brand updates! via MarqueeSole.

Nike LeBron 9 iD

Perhaps more than ever before, sneakerheads are fully aware of how critical a shoe’s color can be to its success.  We’ve witnessed a wide array of color-swap customs that apply legendary looks to different models, a phenomenon that can be attributed to the various online customization services that’ve given us a chance to create 1 of 1s easily and affordably over the last decade-plus.  The leader in this field has been NIKEiD for pretty much the entire time since its launch, and now it’s time for another unprecedented move, as we’re soon going to have our chance at coloring the first Nike LeBron signature ever available through the custom creator.  The Nike LeBron 9 iD will be available for viewing starting on Tuesday, October 11th and then two weeks later on the 25th, you’ll have a chance to actually buy your specially designed Nines.  Got any particular looks in mind you think would look great on this supreme performance machine?  Let us know which colorway(s) would look best and stick with Sneaker News to see some samples in advance of the release date.  via LRJ23

Nike Air Max 95 No Sew

We use the word ‘impeccible’ with this particular model more than most classics, which is not to say that even other models in the Nike Air Max running lineage aren’t on par in terms of the perfection of their respective designs.  But when you consider how fresh the Nike Air Max 95 still looks some sixteen years after its debut, it’s hard to argue that Sergio Lozano’s masterpiece isn’t one of the truly timeless designs in sneaker history.  A slight revision for summer 2012 will see the Air Max 95′s signature tiered white-grey-black gradient crafted with a ‘no-sew’ approach, perhaps the only thing in this world that could make the Ninety-Fives smoother.  You’ll have a chance to cop the OG Neon look with a Volt pair and the more traditional Varsity Maize; which pair will you look to grab come Q2 ’12?  Click through to see both pairs and stick with Sneaker News for the US release dates.  via CK

Nike LeBron 9 Home

The Fall/Holiday cusp is the unofficial mark of the start of LeBron season, and as we’ve experienced before, Nike Basketball rolls out the LeBron 9 with a special edition colorway, preceding the expected ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ colorways. Here’s a look at the White/Black/Red colorway of the LeBron 9, presumably ’ ‘Home’ colorway. The white upper is paired with black accents on the Flywire, weave panel, and on the unique lace lockdown harness at the midfoot, while the outsole is a combination of red and white solid rubber. Comparing the ‘Home’ and the Black/Red ‘Away’ will reveal that there is minimal variance between the two, as the interchanged white and black is the only prominent difference (that’s what a Home and Away should be, right?). Continue reading for additional images of the ‘Home’ and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates. via weibo.

Nike LeBron 9 Officially Unveiled

“LeBron brings a rare combination of speed, agility and force to the game and my goal is to outfit him in a shoe that lets him do what he does best while maximizing our superior innovations.”

We got some insight just this morning, into how Nike Basketball designer Jason Petrie went about creating the to match King James’ on and off-court needs. Following on their informal ‘interview’ comes the official unveiling of this team’s third attempt to capture the crown, the Nike LeBron 9. Right out of the gate, you can just see there’s something special about this shoe, from its use of a significant portion of carbon fiber on the side panels in addition to added strength in the shank plate. The LeBron 9 is the first shoe to combine the benefits of the lightweight and super-strong Flywire 3.0 technology with Hyperfuse ventilation for a nearly seamless one-piece upper that, along with Nike Pro Combat-inspired padding on the interior, makes for a strong contender for the title of most comfortable and visually impressive performance basketball sneaker yet.  And you can be assured of a supremely smooth ride thanks to a large Max Air cushion in the heel that’s coupled with Zoom Air in the forefoot for maximum responsiveness.  Expect the Nike LeBron 9 at retailers starting Saturday, October 1st in Greater China, followed by its US debut two weeks later on the 15th when the ‘China’ LeBron 9 in Cannon hits along with select college colorways to be followed by the inline bred colorup on October 25th. Check out some crisp new images along with a few preliminary sketches after the jump and let us know which colorways you’re most excited to grab.
