Foot Patrol x adidas Originals Campus ’80s ‘B Sides’ Release Info

The adidas Originals B-Sides collection has been pretty epic so far, revisiting big name collabos in the brand’s history with a “What If?” approach. That theme seems especially fitting for Foot Patrol, the landmark UK store that has risen from the dead, reopening its doors in 2010 to serve the sneaker community again. On their first go round with adidas, went for an animal motif, with a trio of done up with snakeskin stripes. This time around horsehair is the pick, showing up on the medial stripes in a mixture of marine and black. These suede beauties will be available at at 9AM on Saturday, 17th September 2011 and are going to just as limited as the rest of the B-Side collection. Take a full look at the sneakers after the jump and head over to Foot Patrol for the extra info for online orders.

Nike Hachi Winter Pack

As the Nike Hachi moves into the colder part of the calendar as Nike Sportswear’s flagship lifestyle design, it’s only right that we’d start to see some winter-themed designs.  Check out this new Hachi in a rich black and navy blue suedes, a set that’s sure to garner some extra attention thanks to the tonalshearling sockliner that gives these a warm and cozy feel.  Black and brown leather accents give you an idea of each respective pair’s proper belt accompaniment and the vulc sole ensures they’re versatile enough for a variety of casual applications.  Could these be even better than the OG Sting-referencing Quickstrike debut releases?  Let us know what you think when you click through to see more images of this upcoming release.  via SF

adidas Originals Montreal Wheat Black White

With the advent of lightweight synthetic materials like Flywire, Hyperfuse and SprintSkin, basketball sneakers in particular have seen a marked increase in the prominence of external heel counters to provide support for pivoting and other lateral movements.  But high-tech performance basketball kicks aren’t the only sneakers with a distinct heel cup; take for instance the classic adidas Originals Montreal, a shoe named for the 1976 Olympic Games to which the original releases were contemporary.  The Montreal has been revamped as part of the James Bond for David Beckham ObyO capsule, but this wheat, black and white edition is straight from Three Stripes, and you’ll be able to grab a pair from select retailers like Size? starting next Friday, September 23rd.

adidas Originals Nizza Hi Brown Leather

We can all spot iconic adidas models like the Superstar or the Sambas from a mile away, but it takes a true three-stripes devotee to pick the adidas Originals Nizza Hi out of a crowd. Originally a basketball sneaker, the Nizza has been revived by the hands of adidas Originals, who have turned this into a classy lifestyle sneaker thanks to releases like this. The smooth brown leather is a spot on match for the earth tones of the fall and the wool lining looks like they’ll keep you comfy even as the winter comes around. Nike Air Max Ultra Metallic Silver Black

Nike Running has offered a huge range of dope designs in 2011 including several LunarLon cushioned kicks and three distinct takes on Max Air cushioning.  The flagship Air Max+ 2011 has enjoyed its fair share of colorways and the AM Alpha 2011 was a nice surprise, the third with a bubbly sole and Hyperfuse upper pictured above.  The Nike Air Max Ultra has just dropped in a new colorway that’s one of those palettes that seems to look good on just about every performance sneaker, Metallic Silver on the upper plus black accents that could result in an ‘Oakland Raiders’ tag.  But it’s also the kind of neutral look that almost anyone could appreciate, and they’re available now at Eastbay.

686 x New Balance Pro Court

In one of the most confusingly named collaborations in history, snowboarding outfitters 686 has once again hooked up with the New England-based brand known for numbering its shoes instead of naming them.  The newest is in three new colorways of a rarely seen silhouette with the even rarer quality of a ‘proper’ model name, the 686 x New Balance Pro Court hightop.  The black/royal/white combo utilized on the Six Eighty Six 580s is reprised here, along with all-black and all-beige joints, all three of which feature white vulc soles to nail that classic b-ball -slash- modern casual look.  Peep all three pairs in photos after the jump and pick yours up straight from 686.

adidas x Star Wars Stormtrooper Helmet By Freehand Profit

The x adidas Originals collection has produced some interesting marketing efforts and even better kicks over the past few years, one standout having released this past February with a curious take on the bizarro white hat Stormtroopers.  The Star Wars x adidas Originals Superskate Mid ‘Stormtrooper’ was cast in white leather plus a neon camo print that was applied to the sockliner and the familiar helmet on their tongues.  This release was like much of the series in that it provided a breath of fresh air to a classic image, and as it turns out, the world hadn’t seen the last of the famous white helmet with a twist.  Created this one for StarWarsRemix, it’s hard to think of a better accessory to compliment the ‘Stormtrooper’ Superskates; how much will this one-of-a-kind piece prove to be worth?  Check out some more images after the jump then place your bids with freehandprofit57 on eBay.

Celebrity Feet: Kanye West Nike Mag 2011

It’s likely that celebrity sneakerheads gave themselves no limit for high bids on the Nike Mag 2011 auctions. Tinie Tempah threw down $37,500 for the first live auction in Hollywood, CA, and Kid Cudi ended up picking up four pairs himself. We even saw baseball hurler Brian Wilson actually wear his pair around the dugout, but add to list of ‘sneakerheads with money’ to have rocked the Mags out in public. was spotted with these super-high-tops backstage during the ACL Festival in Austin, TX, and it seems to fit his style quite seamlessly as the Air Yeezy design itself drew inspiration from the then-fictitious Nike sneaker. More images below, so take a peek and let us know what you think. via VirgilAbloh.

Air Jordan 2011 A Flight Black Varsity Royal

It certainly speaks to the demand of Jordan Brand footwear that the design team has gone ahead and redone the Air Jordan 2011 not one year after its original release. The result is the Air Jordan 2011 A-Flight, a sneaker that keeps the fingerprint sole kit on the bottom, but redoes just about every other element on the legacy release for 2011. Most notable is the Flywire, giving the sides of the sneakers an exposed, skeletal look. The black/varsity royal colorway seen here is no doubt a nod to the OG Air Jordan 1′s bearing the same combo, and a decent tribute at that. Check out the full pics after the jump and grab them from Asian retailer SneakerGo.

MLB Feet: Brian Wilson Nike Mag 2011

Brian Wilson typically enters games for the save, but last night, the Beard went for the win as he rocked a pair of the Nike Mag 2011 while sitting in the dugout. The whimsical closer of the defending champion San Francisco Giants has been injured lately, but that didn’t stop him from rocking out in his lit-up Nike Mags the moment he got them in his hands; we’ve seen him before in some Radii high-tops and Nike Air Max 90 iDs, but Wilson officially takes the cake as best in-game ‘Feet’ moment of 2011 with this sick sneaker selection. Check out the extra shots of Brian Wilson and the after the jump and let us know what celeb you think will rock the Mags next (hint: he’s from the Chi). via tumblr.
