To suggest that the Nike Air Force 1 is to New York as the Puma Suede is to London is no great stretch, each city even offering a nickname for these classic basketball kicks turned casual standards. The AF1s are often called ‘Uptowns’, though the various Bronx editions are the closest we’ve gotten to that as an official name, but this new release from the Puma Shadow Society goes all the way and prints the British-born nickname on its side panels. The Puma Suede lowtop looks just as good in black and fuchsia as the previous two-toned editions and are similarly accompanied by an ominous pyramid-eye lacebag to further the whole ‘hidden’ vibe of this collection. Have a closer look after the jump and pick these up from select Puma retailers including San Fran’s ShoeBiz.

Despite being featured on a nation advertisement for the Air Jordan XIX, Gary Payton is often forgotten as a Jordan Brand athlete. It was that funky era for Jordan Brand, which fell after Michael’s retirement from the Wizards and his awkward ousting as the President of Team Operations, but that didn’t mean that innovation and design was still the focus of the Air Jordan. The Air Jordan XIX, at the time, was the lightest Air Jordan ever made, and it fit the game of the defensive-minded floor-general Gary Payton; we’ve shown you these Air Jordan XII Player Exclusives before, but this particular is not only game-worn, but also autographed by The Glove himself. Check out these images below and to place your bid or offer, hit up the auction from anonymussole on eBay.

Since Kanye West jumped into the pop-culture limelight, he has been considered to be most noted celebrity sneakerheads on the planet. He has his own Nike shoe for cryin’ out loud, and he’s got his own line of high-end sneakers with Louis Vuitton! That’s not one, but two accomplishments that aren’t likely to be duplicated by anyone else, and it’s no wonder that Kanye has been a fashion trendsetter for the younger generation for years. Kanye West was recently spotted while attending a fashion show in London, wearing a conventionally ‘un’-fashionable outfit of a white t-shirt, ripped jeans, and sneakers; what we’re more interested in is the Black/Red Air Jordan 1 he had on – a nice follow-up to his Nike Mag sighting from over the weekend. Check out Kanye West’s latest footwear sighting after the jump and let us know what you think.

Whenever we see a sick new colorway of the Nike LeBron shoe, we tend to approach with apprehension. Why? Well, you don’t want to fall in love with a shoe that might be unattainable, and as we’ve seen with the Nike LeBron line, particularly with the Air Max LeBron VII and the LeBron 8, a good chunk of the widely-praised colorway just never seem to release. The Nike LeBron 9 ‘China’ and it’s seemingly Knicks/CLE HWC colorway was an instant hit when Sneaker News first showed you the LeBron 9 last Wednesday, and here we finally have a detailed look at this upcoming LeBron 9 colorway; the outsole is a translucent light blue, and the tongue and lace harness at the midfoot appear to picture an anime-style graphic of some sort – possibly that of a dragon, considering 2012 is the Year of the Dragon (according to the traditional Chinese Zodiac). Continue reading for a detailed look and let us know if this new colorway changes your mind about the LeBron 9! via Dime China.

We don’t see Air Jordans on the NFL field too often, and why they do, they’re often altered to be more sport-specific, and likely for league uniform regulations, the Jordan Brand logos are removed! If you saw our recent Air Jordan NFL Feet sightings on Mike Williams and Kevin Vickerson, you would’ve noticed that both their PE’s lacked any Jordan Brand insignia, and the same goes for this Fall 2004 PE Turf shoe made for Ahman Green of the Green Bay Packers. Green’s 2003-2004 campaign was one of the best Running Back stat-lines in history, as he racked up 1,800+ yards and racked up 20 TDs, leading the Packers to an NFC North title. These Air Jordan XIII Turf PEs feature a Nike Football outsole with the familiar Air Jordan XIII upper, although you’ll see no branding on the tongue or on the flap label typically located at the base of the lace placket. Continue reading for more images of this Air Jordan XIII PE courtesy of DaClosetCollector, and stick with Sneaker News for more NFL Feet coverage for this 2011 NFL Season!

The New Zealand men’s national rugby union team hasn’t been able to recapture their championship glory since winning the inaugural Rugby World Cup back in 1987, but adidas is ready to support the All Blacks’ hosting efforts, and perhaps more importantly, offer an answer to Nike Sportswear’s recent England ‘New Blood’ collection. The Qubic x All Blacks x adidas Originals Campus 80s ’All Heroes’ are done as cleanly as the Kiwis’ traditional kits, the traditional silver fern on their heels matching the dope deluxe metal carrying case available for only 15 of the 100-pair run. Kid Cudi made some big news recently when we learned that he copped four pairs of the Nike Mag 2011 during the 10-day auction event. However, it’s been documented that one of Cudi’s favorite sneakers of all-time is the Air Jordan IV, and we’ve spotted him in them a healthy number of times. The most recent was at his concert at the Molson Amphitheatre, when he wore the Air Jordan IV ‘Black Cat’ during his concert up in Toronto. Cudi’s attire has been more ‘rock’ than ‘rap’ star, wearing skinny jeans, motorcycle jackets, and vintage-inspired graphic t-shirts, but his sneaker selections won’t change much due to his penchant for Air Jordans and Nikes. It’s just one of the many unique images and styles in the hip-hop scene today, so check out Kid Cudi and his kicks below and stick with Sneaker News for more Celebrity Feet features. via thecomeupshow.

Since when was it appropriate to have camouflage print on the NBA court? We’ve seen military-inspired prints on athletic gear before (the San Diego Padres’ alternate jerseys come to mind), but not so much on basketball sneakers. The recent Zoom Kobe VI releases and Nike iD options introduced camouflage print to the Kobe line, but little did we know it would continue forth on this Hyperfuse/LunarLon powered Nike Basketball shoe that is currently set for a Holiday 2011 drop; it features a camouflage print upper in the signature olive green, beige, brown, and black tones, with a hit of teal on the swoosh-border and laces. Don’t forget the brightly-colored Action Red outsole as well. We’ve got more images of this upcoming release below so check ‘em out and hit up the auction from 343rebel on eBay.

On the heels of a closer look at the upcoming ‘Metallic Silver’ edition, here’s a pair slated to release about eight weeks later. The Nike Total Air Foamposite Max in this ‘Triple Black’ colorway is a fitting release for the Friday after Thanksgiving, though they’re sure to be up against tough competition on Black Friday as the sneaker world has offered more and better releases on this biggest of all shopping days, for several years in a row now. The ‘Blackout’ Total Air Foamposite Max last released in 2005 so there’s plenty of demand, but how will they stack up against an all-timer like the ‘Black Cement’ Air Jordan III Retro set to drop on the same day? Only time will tell, but you can click through to see more images of these Foams and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Air-Randy
