White-on-white Air Force 1 Lows, ‘Griptape’ Dunk Mid SBs, Goadome boots. Not too many Nike, Inc. silhouettes can claim to be nearly perpetually or annually available, but their exclusive ranks might have grown by one if we can take the success of last year’s run of the black Jordan 6 Rings Winterized boot is any indication. The ‘Blackout’ Six Rings boot is back again to keep your prized Jays out of the rain and muck this winter, a beefed-up chunky design that proves black is indeed slimming, and in this case, brutally effective. You’ve probably already seen them and either want to get in on the action or just need a new pair for this year, and we have some new images after the jump that you can examine before picking up a pair at select Jordan Brand retailers like Premier.

The Nike SB team riders make up on eclectic bunch of folks. He recently posted a few images depicting piles of samples of his Janoski, like the wine-stained ‘Wino’ and a funky ‘Aztec’ print version that we’ve yet to see. There is no doubt that the Nike Mag 2011 is the biggest release of the year and perhaps of the last two decades. While prices of the Nike Mag 2011 have fallen just a bit to the $3,000-4,000 range, the opening night of auctions was a bidding frenzy, with some pairs eclipsing $10,000. However, the younger generation of sneakerheads might not understand the excitement behing the Nike Mag 2011, which is understandable considering the entire Back To The Future trilogy released before some who are of legal drinking age were even born! What makes Nike sneakers so special and valuable is the unique stories that fuel the mystique, and this video provides, in detail, the history behind the Nike Mag 2011 and the importance it has not only to the Nike archives, but to movie buffs and philanthropists. Continue reading for a five-minute video for a crash course on the most significant Nike release ever and educate yourself on some true Nike history, and don’t forget to place your bid for a pair of Mags because there are just a few days left over at nikemag.ebay.com.

Jordan Brand seems not content to rule the realm of basketball sneakers, branching out with a wide array of lifestyle offerings and even some more rugged fare for all-terrain action. Here’s two new releases for the latter category, the Jordan City Air Max TRK and the Jordan Flight 45 TRK. The Jordan City Air MAX TRK comes off as the big brother to the Jordan B2B, letting the trail-ready design reach a bit higher on the ankle. The Jordan Flight 45 TRK is a winterized version of the popular Flight 45 silhouette, using super duty materials for an added layer of durability. The Jordan City Air Max and the Flight 45 TRK are both available now at Eastbay, so head there if you like what you see after the jump.

The growing appreciation and awareness for 90′s runners has led to releases like the Bodega x Saucony Elite Grid 9000, which we feel would be the perfect addition to any sneaker collection that is desperate for a fresh pick-up. The Grid 9000 and its trail-inspired design mirrors the early-90′s design aesthetic to a tee, and these new colorways, hand-selected by Boston’s Bodega, accentuate the multi-faceted nature of the shoe thanks to the apt mix of colors and materials. Premier has these two colorways in stock now, so watch for the Bodega x Saucony Elite Grid 9000 at select Saucony retailers soon!

Well here you go, the full trio in all their glory with the namesake stealth grey showing up on the mudguard a reptilian texture. While the must have retros are undoubtedly marked on every sneakerhead’s calender, let’s not forget about the extensive Jordan Brand offerings that stretch beyond the legacy releases. Among those is the Jordan TE 3 Low, a model that carries some of the Air Jordan basketball lineage in its DNA, but comes off much more casually thanks to its low cut silhouette and sleek design. That’s not to say that the Jordan TE 3 Low isn’t court ready, with its Phylon midsole and imbedded midfoot support. Check out these two new colorways for September, one in a stealth grey which has been a popular JB color as of late, and the other in white/varsity royal out of Penny’s playbook. We’ve got the full photos after the jump, and head over to Eastbay to cop your pair if you like what you see.

Experienced sneakerheads know all about New Balance’s track record of superb Japanese exclusives, but the brand’s APAC Project is looking to expand NB’s sterling reputation to the rest of the Asia-Pacific area. Here’s a collaboration with Singaporean sneaker shop Leftfoot and local lifestyle blog Streething dubbed the ‘Past Present and Future’, a look at NB’s nearly century-long run of excellence based on the beloved 574 silo. For the ‘Past’, it’s a New Balance HM574 in a beautiful blue suede that’ll have the brand’s core fanbase giddy, though a mere 600 pairs of this and the others means they’re destined for a heavy resale markup. For the ‘Present’, we get a green leather H574J, but it’s the super-flexible-soled and sonic-welded HS77 that seems most timely for 2011. Peep all three after the jump, let us know which is your favorite and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their availability.

Before the 1996 signing of Allen Iverson, Reebok’s biggest stars of the ’90s were Shaquille O’Neal and Shawn Kemp. Here’s a shoe from the Vector brand that manages to blend both of them together with a little taste of the man who vanquished both in the ’96 playoffs, a new Reebok Kamikaze III Mid in Orlando Magic colors. These have us excited for the upcoming Sermon model based on Shaq’s Preacher sig, but is Reebok knowingly reaching outside its own corporate bounds to evoke the Air Jordan XI with this pair’s patent leather toe? It’s a solid design either way, and you can find these at RBK retailers like SNS.

Back in 2008, Nike SB created an SB Dunk Low colorway that was referred to as the OFF! Bug Spray edition, as the bug-repellent brand’s logo colors matched that of the Radiant Green and Deep Orange used on the sample. It seemed to be a fitting proposal as 2008 Nike SB featured some funky inspirations from well-known tangible goods like the 7-11 Big Gulp, Shoe Goo, Newcastle ale, and even Gibson guitars. At quick glance, these OFF! Bug Spray samples may remind you of 2009′s Toxic Avengers, which featured a similar dual-green midsole/outsole combo and a red swoosh. It’s not often we even get an opportunity to look at these super-rare samples, but we’ve got another detailed look here thanks to mental_therapy on eBay.
