What’s your favorite Air Jordan? With twenty-seven models to choose from and countless colorways within each model, the menu of options is rather large, but we’re certain it falls anywhere from Air Jordan III to Air Jordan XIV and features a Chicago Bulls colorway. Dwyane Wade recently posted a picture of his favorite Air Jordans – the Air Jordan III Black/Cement. On the social media sharing platform WhoSay, Dwyane Wade asks: What’s on your feet right now? Got my favorite J’s on.” Check out Wade’s kicks after the jump and let us know what your favorite Air Jordan is!

Jay-Z recently announced that he would be the first performing act at the new Barclay’s Center when it opens up in time for the 2012-13 NBA Season. But before he suited up for that press conference, he performed live at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas while wearing his usual all-black get-up with the Air Jordan III Black/Cement. It seems as if a bunch of celebrity sneakerheads are turning to the never-fail Cement IIIs these days, and with a re-release going down in about two months, everybody wants to get in as many ‘wears’ as possible before settling for a fresh new pair. Check out Jay-Z with singer/pal Alicia Keys below and stick with Sneaker News for more Celebrity Feet features!

Sneaker Pimps just hit the halfway point of its 2011 United States tour, and first up after the ‘all-star break’ is a trip to the nation’s capital. Washington DC is a footwear hotbed sufficiently geeked on sneakers that Sneaker Con held two events there already in ’11, and Sneaker Pimps will arrive at the Ibiza nightclub in less than two weeks. A live performance by Bun B and background tunes from DJ Lil Mic should get the crowd going, but you know it’s the buy/sell/trade action that really gets sneakerheads’ blood boiling. Click through to see the event flier for more info and let us know if you plan on attending Sneaker Pimps DC 2011.

Here’s one of the most peculiar and unprecedented collaborations in the history of the modern sneaker scene: a collaboration between two significant long-standing labels who occupy such different corners of the footwear market that their team-up is as unlikely as head-on competition. It’s one of those ideas you might reject wholesale if you just read that they were gonna combine the Clarks Originals Wallabee chukka with the Fila Original Tennis, and yet, a quick look at them reveals that this isn’t some manatee idea ball mashup. A swooping Fila stripe integrates into the Wallabee’s iconic vamp quite effortlessly, and though we’re simultaneously curious and terrified by the prospect of further colorways, the red-on-tan flat-out works. A three man dice game where the contestants are playing for literal cheese is a perfect companion to this ‘did this really happen’ project; could you see yourself in the Fila x Clarks Filabee? Sneaker News brought you the unfortunate word that the ‘Infrared’ Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse wouldn’t make it to retail, in part because it was reserved as a special giveaway to attendees of CrookedTongues’ recent Labor Day BBQ. They’re not the only sneaker shop celebrating with exclusive prizes, and in a certain way, the giveaway goodies from Sole Classics‘ 5th anniversary has CT beaten. That’s because even as there are believed to be less than a hundred pairs of Infrared AM90 Fuses in existence, each Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke is a true 1 of 1, and raffle winner King JD‘s bounty is indeed a unique breed. Mixing black leather and wool with a natural cork rear plus select pink and teal accents results in a South Beach-in-the-forest look that along with the ‘SC’ logo makes for a design unlike anything else we’ve seen from the studio at 21 Mercer; where do they rank against the other AF1 Bespokes we’ve profiled? Click through for a closer look, leave a comment and head over to Nike Sportswear in New York to create your own pair today.

Made for Skate. It’s a brand that has a single meaning if you’re aware of the 2009 skateboarding retrospective book and exhibition by the same name, though it appears the creators themselves have realized there’s a bit of ambiguity with which they can play. Let’s take a closer look at the Made for Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Rollerderby’, a collaborative design that takes its inspiration not from the period just before Nike SB existed (as in the case of the recent ‘Plum’ Dunk High SB), but from the period before real skateboards were even invented! It’s back in 1959 where you’ll find a board so primitive that it has no concavity or kicktails, not even so much as a hint of griptape, and this mid-century milestone lends its familiar style to one of the more interesting SB Dunks of 2011. We’ve already seen the Air Jordan III ‘Oregon’ in both the ‘Home’ White and ‘Away’ Black, so the question is, who’s got ‘em? Apparently these Air Jordan III PEs are in the possession of some former University of Oregon athletes, as we’ve already seen them in the hands of Dennis Dixon, former Oregon QB and current Pittsburgh Steelers back-up QB, and other ex-players. Here we get another look at the black colorway, with the Oregon logo stitched on the tongue and yellow eyelets on the upper. We’ve already seen two Air Jordan PEs made for Oregon players (the Air Jordan IX) so which do you like best? Let us know what you think. via thisisdaners.

If you caught yesterday’s feature of Hawaii Mike’s 25 Favorite Sneakers (in his apartment), you would’ve laid your eyes on some of the rarest, most niche-friendly sneakers ever created. In the sneaker game diversity is always appreciated, but that isn’t saying that you can’t build a passion for sneakers by loving only the classics. Hip-hop artist J. Cole is one celebri-sneakerhead that we’ve been following for some time and you might’ve noticed by now that he doesn’t stray too far from tried and true favorites, like the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’, Nike Air Foamposite One in Royal, and even the Reebok Question. Check out some of J. Cole’s 10 Favorite Sneakers below and head to Complex to round out the entire list.

Over the weekend, NYC-native Fabolous performed live during the half-time show in tandem with the Morgan State University Marching Band as part of the festivities of the New York Urban League Football Classic. We can all take one collective sigh of relief now. The black speckles are back! Earlier previews of the Air Jordan IV White/Cement samples showed grey speckling, but according this GS size of the upcoming Air Jordan IV White/Cement, it appears that the black speckling will make its celebrated return. Another closer look reveals a faux-suede wrapped ‘wing’ instead of the original plastic, but keep in mind that these are the GS version and not the mens, so expect the customary midsole to return as well. Like what you see? Check out the extra images below and let us know what you think. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates regarding one of the most anticipated Air Jordan Retro releases of all-time! via dreamsole.
